This tour combines hiking, sightseeing and water tourism.

You will take a tour of Lake Teletskoye, visit the unique valley of the Chulyshman river, take a walking tour to the Chulchinsky waterfall, better known as Uchar, get acquainted with the history of ancient Altai, hike light to the Kuikhtanar lakes, visit Mars, and also become conquerors of white water, passing the middle section of the Katun River with rapids up to 4-of that difficulty category, on rafts!

Itinerary

  • Day 1 - The Taezhnik tourist complex. Cherepan Mountain

    Check-in at the Taezhnik eco-hotel. 

    For those who have chosen Gorno-Altaysk, the capital of our Republic, as the city of arrival, there is a meeting at the airport (group transfer, for an additional fee, you can order an individual one, or use taxi services).

    Breakfast in the restaurant of the eco-hotel Taezhnik for those who arrive before 10:45. 

    Check-in in yurts located on the territory of the Taezhnik eco-hotel, shower and toilet on the territory (single-bed accommodation in yurts is not provided).

    For an additional fee.For a fee, you can stay in the rooms of the eco-hotel Taezhnik, upon their availability. 

    Gathering of the group, including those who arrived after 11:00.

    At 13:00 lunch at the restaurant of the eco-hotel Taezhnik. 

    After lunch, a walking tour to Mount Cherepan, which is located above the eco-hotel and on the banks of the Katun River to the monument to Shishkov.

    Rest, free time. 

    Dinner at the restaurant of the eco-hotel Taezhnik from 19:00 to 20:00.

    After dinner, an evening of acquaintances around the campfire.

The route of medium difficulty, for people with good physical fitness, is suitable for family holidays with children from 16 years old (from 14 years old with parental consent, under the responsibility of parents or persons replacing them), age restrictions up to 60 years old, exceptions are possible on an individual basis when providing a doctor's certificate with permission to practice active sports.

Paid extra

  • air-railway tickets to Novosibirsk, Barnaul, Gorno-Altaysk and back;
  • delivery to the Taezhnik tourist complex and back, except for a group transfer from Gorno-Altaisk airport;
  • tick insurance, the cost of insurance is 400.00 rubles, the validity period is 1 year. it is issued and paid in advance;
  • accommodation before and after the start of the tour.

It's important to know

Personal equipment you need for the tour

1. A backpack (up to 40 liters), a suitcase or a large travel bag, that is, something in which it is convenient to carry things to the base, special means are issued on the route for transporting things – an archimak (saddlebag) and a drive bag.
2. Hiking shoes, preferably boots, which can be leather, rubber, or birch, the main thing is that they do not get wet and cover the boot from rubbing against the stirrup strap (putlishche) or high boots.
3. Running shoes or trekking boots for radial exits. Avoid new shoes that are not worn out.
4. Replacement shoes for camping (slates).
5. Comfortable clothing for walking radial crossings – sweatpants that do not restrict movement, made of lightweight quick-drying material, without rough inner seams, a shirt or a long-sleeve T-shirt. A windbreaker made of thick material. A suit for hunters or fishermen, or something similar, is suitable, the main thing is that it is comfortable and does not rustle.
6. A set of clothes for recreation in the camp – trousers, shirt, shorts, T-shirt.
7. A warm sweater.
8. Warm jacket (synthetic or down jacket).
9. A warm hat (fleece or wool).
10. Cap or panama hat.
11. Gloves (even simple cotton ones will do).
12. Socks – 2-3 pairs of cotton or linen, 2 pairs of wool.
13. A waterproof raincoat or suit that can withstand heavy rain. On the equestrian route, an UGC (Combined Arms Protective Kit) is issued to protect against rain – a long rubber raincoat with a hood.
14. Bathing suit.
15. Toilet and hygiene supplies. Including hygienic lipstick and sunscreen with a high protection factor.
16. Sunglasses that protect the eyes from ultraviolet rays in the mountains.
17. A small flashlight (headlamp).
18. Individual medicines.
19. A small water flask. You can use a plastic bottle with a capacity of 0.5 liters.
20. Camera or video camera (optional) with hermetically sealed.
21. Tourist seat (hob).
22. Personal tableware (plate, spoon, mug).

For the convenience of packaging, it is recommended to have small bags or garbage bags, and for additional splash protection of things and protection from dirt in archimacs, we recommend having dense plastic bags with a volume of 160-180 liters in the amount of 4 pieces.

Towel.

Additionally for the water part:

  1. Sneakers, sneakers (one size larger for hydro socks) or special alloy shoes;
  2. Thermal underwear or khb T-shirt and shorts under a wetsuit.

The camera and movie camera must have special sealed boxes or sealed packaging.

The requirement for a set of personal items. Nothing superfluous or sharp (without appropriate packages, which can damage the hermetic packaging). For the convenience of packaging and additional splash protection, we recommend having plastic bags.

On the water route, the following are issued: sleeping bag, tent, wetsuit, splash-proof suit, water socks, life jacket, helmet.
