Belukha is the heart of Asia. Hiking and excursions

Special offer! For arrivals in June, 06/19 and 06/28, a sauna is a gift!

Belukha is the highest peak in Siberia, consisting of the Western (4440m) and Eastern Belukha (4506m) mountains separated by a saddle. Glaciers on its slopes, with a total area of 70 square kilometers, give rise to the sources of the amazingly beautiful and largest river in the Altai Mountains. – Katun. In 1995, by decision of the Government of the Altai Republic, the Belukha Nature Park was established, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

According to one of the Asian legends, Mount Belukha is the future Northern Shambhala. This place is associated with the name of Nicholas Roerich and annually attracts hundreds of admirers of the teachings of the great artist, philosopher and scientist. We invite you to make an unforgettable journey to the top, where step by step you will see an extremely rich and unique natural world with elements of the cultural heritage of ancient and modern eras.

Tour organizer's comments
The route is a hike along mountain trails (with a backpack, partly accompanied by pack horses), which does not require the use of special skills, but it requires good physical fitness. We do not recommend traveling this route for people who need constant medical supervision. The length of the active part is 168 km by car. + walking distance of 105 km.

We do not recommend this route to beginners, that is, to those tourists who have not gone hiking before. For the first hike, it is better to choose simpler routes.
