Let's discover the Aktru Mountain Center, the heart of Altai adventures! We are waiting for a drop-off in an all-terrain vehicle, an alpine camp at an altitude of 2200 m, accommodation in warm cedar cottages, and an exciting hiking trip to an altitude of 2870 meters. Magnificent views of the peaks of Aktru-Bashi, Kyzyl-Tash and the eternal glaciers of the North Chuisky range.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Aktru Alpine Camp
Meeting of the guests at 8:00-9:00 bus station and airport in Gorno-Altaysk (Altai Republic).
Transfer from Novosibirsk and Barnaul is possible — an additional payment of 3000 rubles/person. Meeting at the NSC at the railway Station at 01:00, meeting in Barnaul (suburb, Sea Buckthorn cafe) at 5:00.
7:00 p.m. Splices: early breakfast (on your own).
An inspection of the monument to V. Shukshin on Mount Piket and the first panoramic views of the Altai mountains.
9:00 a.m. Gorno-Altaysk airport: Meeting of tourists, departure for an excursion along the famous Chuisky highway.
Seminsky and Chike Taman passes are two legendary mountain passes with stunning views and souvenir markets, cedar latte at an altitude of 1,717 m.
The confluence of Chuya and Katun: the place where two mountain rivers join, creating one of the most picturesque natural landscapes of the route.
Lunch: cafe of Altai national cuisine, the opportunity to taste local dishes (not included in the price).
Next, the first views of the snowy peaks of the North Chuisky range.
17:00 Kurai steppe.
Transfer by off-road vehicle to a mountaineering camp in the mountains.
19:00 Aktru Alpine Camp.
Check-in, dinner, sauna: rest after a busy day and prepare for a radial hike into the mountains.
Day 2 - Blue Lake Hike
8:00 a.m. Breakfast: we recharge our batteries before an active day in the mountains.
9:00 Radial exit to the Blue Lake: A walk along the scenic route (5 km one way, elevation drop of 670 m, ascent to 2870 m).
On the way we will see the peaks of Upi, Snezhnaya, Yubileynaya, the glacier and the top of Aktru-Bashi, the Bolshoy Aktru glacier, the glaciologists' house and, of course, the Blue Lake itself.
16:00-17:00 Descent to the mountain center.
Return to the place of residence after a busy route.
19:00 Dinner at a cafe: a warm evening by the campfire, socializing, sharing photos and impressions, relaxing after conquering the mountain peaks.
Day 3 - Departure on the way back. Kamyshlinsky waterfall
9:00 a.m. Breakfast.
09:30 Descent with your belongings.
Departure on the way back.
Monument to Kolka Snegirev, Ininsky bridge, Ininsky steles.
14:00 Lunch at a cafe at the foot of the Chike Taman pass (not included in the price).
16:00 Bonus tour — Kamyshlinsky waterfall (additional charge: entrance 300 rubles, motor rafting 700 rubles).
Departure home.
Approximate arrival in Gorno-Altaysk at 19:00.
Estimated arrival in Novosibirsk at 2:00.

It's important to know

reliable shoes (hiking boots), sticks, foam seat (or all this can be rented)

backpack (20-30 liters),
personal medicines,
personal hygiene products,
thermos flask, mug or thermocup,

Important! Pack your belongings in soft travel bags and take small backpacks (20-30 liters) for essentials in the bus interior and for the radial exit. There is no place for a suitcase in the transport.
