Itinerary

Day 1 - Chuisky tract. Aktru Alpine Camp
9:00 a.m. Gorno-Altaysk airport: meeting of tourists, departure for an excursion along the famous Chuisky highway.
Seminsky and Chike Taman passes are two legendary mountain passes with stunning views and souvenir markets, cedar latte at an altitude of 1717m.
The confluence of Chuya and Katun: the place where two mountain rivers join, creating one of the most picturesque natural landscapes of the route.
Lunch: cafe of Altai national cuisine, the opportunity to taste local dishes (self-pay according to the menu).
Next, the first views of the snowy peaks of the North Chuisky range.
17:00 Kurai steppe.
Transfer by off-road vehicle to a mountaineering camp in the mountains.
19:00 Aktru Alpine Camp.
Check-in, dinner, sauna.
Rest after a busy day and prepare for a radial hike into the mountains.

Day 2 - Hike to the Blue Lake
9:00 a.m. Breakfast.
10:00 Radial exit along the Blue Lake route (one-way length of 5 km, elevation drop of 670m, rise to 2870m above sea level).
We will see: Upi peak, Snezhnaya peak, Bolshoy Aktru glacier, Aktru-Bashi peak, Bolshoy Aktru glacier, Yubileynaya peak, glaciologists' house, Blue Lake.
16:00-17:00 Descent to the mountain center.
Return to the place of residence after a busy route.
19:00 Dinner at a cafe.
A warm evening by the campfire, socializing, sharing photos and impressions, relaxing after conquering the mountain peaks.

Day 3 - Altai Mars and Geyser Lake
9:00 a.m. Breakfast, descent to the Kurai steppe.
We pack up and start the journey down, with new locations and experiences ahead.
Excursion to the Dzhangyskol lake.
A visit to one of the most beautiful and little—known lakes in Altai is an ideal place to take photos and relax.
11:00 a.m. Continuation of the journey:
Altai Mars tour by off-road vehicle: colorful hills and Martian landscapes.
Optional additional excursions to Mars-2 and the Moon (1,600 rubles/person for a group of 4 people or more).
View of the North Chuisky ridge.
Stop for a photo shoot and enjoy the panoramic views of the mountains.
Geyser Lake.
Visit a unique lake-the "eye of the Earth", which appeared after the earthquake of 2003 — the only one in our hemisphere.
16:00 Check-in at the recreation center in the village of Aktash.
Accommodation in comfortable cabins with amenities.
18:00 Dinner together in a cafe: the final evening in pleasant company, exchange of impressions about the trip.

Day 4 - The way home
8:00 a.m. Breakfast.
We start the day with a hearty breakfast before heading home.
9:00 Departure back along the Chuisky highway.
On the way — sightseeing stops:
Maiden's Tears Waterfall is a picturesque natural gem;
Monument to Kolka Snegirev, the legendary hero of the Altai rivers;
Ininsky Bridge is a famous suspension ferry;
Sand pillars are unusual rock formations;
14:00 Lunch at a cafe at the foot of the Chike Taman pass.
Rest and the opportunity to taste the dishes of Altai cuisine.
16:00 Bonus tour: Kamyshlinsky waterfall.
Optional: motorcycle rafting to the waterfall (to be paid separately, 800 rubles/person).
Departure home
Approximate arrival in Gorno-Altaysk at 19:00

The tour provides accommodation at a recreation center and in an alpine camp.

Accommodation in two or three-storey houses with a beautiful view from the window. The rooms are double and triple, without amenities, shower and toilet on site. The shower is paid. The sauna is included in the price of the tour. There is a cafe on the territory of the base.

It's important to know

a small backpack for carrying small items (water bottles, napkins, etc.);
trekking shoes;
socks, preferably cotton, at least 2-3 pairs;
warm clothes (sweatshirt or sweater, beanie, thermal underwear, etc.);
comfortable outerwear that does not restrict movement, windproof windbreaker, raincoat;
headdress (cap, hat, bandana, etc.);
sunglasses and sun protection products with a high degree of protection (UF 40-50);
light T-shirts, T-shirts, shirts, including those with long sleeves;
personal hygiene products.

Important! Pack your belongings in soft travel bags and take small backpacks (20-30 liters) for essentials in the bus interior and for the radial exit. There is no place for a suitcase in the transport.
