Itinerary

  • Day 1 - The secret of the Altai Princess

    Welcome to Altai!

Today we begin our smooth immersion into the mysteries of Altai.

But first we go to Gorno-Altaysk and go to the museum!

The National Museum of the Altai Republic is one of the best in Siberia.

After passing through several halls and several millennia of the eventful history of Altai, we will find ourselves in a special place.

It is there that the famous mummy of the Altai Princess, found on the Ukok plateau, rests in a special sarcophagus.

    But not a single museum!

The only city in the Republic also deserves our attention.

We will walk through the green streets, find the place where Ulala began, see how Oirot-Tura developed and find out what is unusual about the architecture of Gorno-Altaysk.

In the late afternoon, we will arrive in the Karakol Valley and stay in a cozy guest house.

Our acquaintance with Altai continues, and now we will get to know its taste – a traditional national dinner awaits us.

And after dinner, an incredible experience of Kaichi's concert.

At some point, you will wonder where the musician hides an instrument that makes such unusual sounds.

And it turns out that there is no instrument, it's throat singing!
