Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Departure to the village of Ust-Koksa

    Departure to the village of Ust-Koksa.

    Departure from Novosibirsk at 20:00 (local time, MSK+4, arrival the day before the start of the tour). The place of departure is Sovetskaya St., 65.

    Departure from Barnaul at 23:50 (local time, MSK+4, arrival the day before the start of the tour). The place of departure is the Sea Buckthorn restaurant and hotel complex (Novoaltaysk, Dorozhnaya St., 13).

    Departure from Gorno-Altaysk (airport) at 11:00.

    The road passes along the famous Chuisky highway among the rocky ridges of the Altai Mountains, then along the Kansk steppe into the Uimon valley.

    Arrival of a bus from Novosibirsk to Ust-Koksa/Barnaul at 10:00.

    Lunch at a cafe.

    Arrival in Ust-Koksa by bus from Gorno-Altaysk at 17:00 (lunch on the way at your own expense).

    Arrival in the village of Ust-Koksa. Accommodation in a tent camp. The briefing.

    Supper. An evening of dating.

    Length: by car – 825 km from Novosibirsk / 640 km from Barnaul (Novoaltaysk) / 375 km from Gorno-Altaysk.
    Meals included: lunch, dinner in a cafe. Meals on the road are at your own expense.

  • Day 2 - Transfer to the village of Multa-maralnik. Ascent to the Lower Multinsky Lake
  • Day 3 - Radial access to the Upper Multinsky Lake
  • Day 4 - Radial exit to the observation deck of Mikhailovka Mountain
  • Day 5 - Transfer to Lake Kuyguk
  • Day 6 - Kuyguk Lake – Kuyguk Pass

Paid extra

  • air and railway tickets to Novosibirsk / Barnaul / Gorno-Altaysk and back;
  • meals on the road and on day 9-10 while waiting for transfer to Barnaul/Novosibirsk;
  • a sauna is possible on the lower Multinskoye lake (2,3 and 4 days of the route), approximately 2500 rubles/ hour, at the Altair Eco-shopping center (1, 8 days), 2000 rubles per hour.;
  • washing clothes – 500 rubles / 1 bookmark;
  • you can additionally book rafting and other excursions (1 and 10 days) at the tourist complex;
  • it is possible to drop a backpack to the Lower Lake (day 2) – 500 rubles. or a tourist with a backpack – 3500 rubles.;
  • on day 3, it is possible to take a motorboat to the middle lake and on the way back from the middle lake. Approximately 500 rubles per person for one trip. One trip shortens the journey by about 3 kilometers.;
  • transportation to Ust-Koksy:
    • Novosibirsk – Ust-Koksa – Novosibirsk - 10 200 rubles/person.;
    • Barnaul (Novoaltaysk) – Ust-Koksa – Barnaul (Novoaltaysk) – 9,800 rubles/person.;

It's important to know

Personal equipment you need for the tour
  1. Trekking shoes for movement – 1 pair (worn light or medium trekking boots or sneakers).
  2. Replaceable light shoes for camping and crossing rivers into a ford – 1 pair ("crocs" or light sandals; flip-flops without fastening in the heel area are NOT recommended).
  3. Lightweight trekking pants made of synthetic – 1 pair.
  4. T–shirt for movement, running - 2 pieces (at least 1 with long and 1 with short sleeves, made of moisture-wicking, quick-drying synthetics; shirts, cotton T-shirts are NOT recommended).
  5. Fleece jacket for movement – 1 piece (fleece weight from light to medium).
  6. A warm sweater for camps or long breaks – 1 piece (or a powder puff with natural or synthetic insulation; alternatively, a second thick fleece; knitted wool and fur items are NOT recommended);
  7. jacket (windbreaker, rain membrane) in June, down jacket at the end of August.
  8. Raincoat (if you have a waterproof jacket, you don't need it; a disposable plastic one is NOT recommended).
  9. Warm synthetic hat – 1 piece.
  10. Synthetic gloves, running gloves – 1 pair.
  11. Trekking socks for movement – 2-3 pairs.
  12. Warm socks for sleeping – 1 pair.
  13. Sports underwear for movement – 2 sets.
  14. A set of underwear for sleeping (thermal underwear, or a regular T-shirt and long johns).
  15. Sunglasses with UV protection factor UV400.
  16. Sunscreen for face and hands with protection factor SPF 50.
  17. Headdress for movement (hat, cap; bandana as an option) – 1 pc.
  18. KLMN – mug, spoon, bowl, knife – (plastic, aluminum, stainless steel or titanium; porcelain, glass is NOT recommended).
  19. Water container (flask/bottle, plastic or metal, 0.5-0.7 liters; hydrator is NOT recommended) – 2 bottles.
  20. Tourist seat (hoba).
  21. Personal hygiene products (toothbrush and paste, toilet paper, a small bottle of shampoo or liquid soap for 1-2 applications, a small towel; deodorants, perfumes, cosmetics and excessive amounts of detergents and skin care products are NOT recommended).
  22. A roll-up plaster (to seal up your calluses).

  24. The headlamp is light.
