• from Novosibirsk at 20:00 (local time, Moscow +4). Place of departure – st. Soviet, 65;
• from Barnaul at 23:50 (local time, MSK+4). Place of departure – restaurant and hotel complex "Oblepikha" (Novoaltaysk, Dorozhnaya st., 13);
• from Gorno-Altaisk (airport) at 11:00.

Transfer from Ust-Koksa:

• to Novosibirsk / Barnaul (Novoaltaysk) at 17:00 (local time, MSK+4). Estimated arrival: to Novosibirsk – 10:00, to Barnaul (Novoaltaisk) – 07:00.
• in Gorno-Altaisk at 17:00 or 21:00 (local time, MSK+4). Arrival in Gorno-Altaisk at 23:00 or 03:00 at the hotel in Mayma (hotel cost from RUB 500 per person). Gorno-Altaisk Airport is closed until 05:00.

The route does not require any special skills. It is okey to have an average physical fitness.

We do not recommend people who need constant medical supervision to travel along this route.

Children over the age of 10 can participate in the tour, but only accompanied by adults, from the age of 16 you can travel on your own.

On the route it is possible to visit the bathhouse:

1st, 9th days at the Ecotourism Complex "Altair" – RUB 1000 per hour;
3rd day on Kucherlinskoye Lake – from RUB 2,000 per hour;
5th, 6th, 7th days on the lake Ak-Kem – from RUB 1,500 per hour.

Foreign citizens need to issue a pass to the Ust-Koksinsky district. It is free of charge. You have to provide with a scan of your passport (a page with a photo), as well as an address, e-mail and a phone number. It is necessary to submit documents for a pass no later than 30 days before the date of entry.

On the way from Novosibirsk / Barnaul / Gorno-Altaisk to the start of the active part of the route and back: meals on your own at road food points.

Upon arrival in the village of Ust-Koksa: three meals a day in a summer cafe on the territory of the tourist complex.

On the route, the guide prepares meals: breakfast and dinner – field kitchen, lunch – dry rations.

Food is cooked on a fire, stove or gas burner. In the mountain camping on Ak-Kem – on a gas stove.

Food light in weight and enhanced in calories.

Tourists are only voluntarily involved in cooking, but participate in the collection of firewood.

The menu includes canned meat, fish, green peas, corn, beans, butter, cereals, pasta, cheese, sausage, lard, vegetables, fruits, dried cream, raisins, dried apricots, nuts, chocolate, tea, coffee, cocoa, condensed milk, sweets, cookies, bread, crackers, biscuits.

During the hikes there is an opportunity to pick mushrooms and berries.

Tourists are accompanied by 1–2 guide on the route.

The guides have a first aid kit with a set of medicines necessary for the hike. You need to bring specific medicines with you, and we also recommend that you bring with you:

• elastic bandage;
• corn patches;
• bandage;
• iodine;
• balm Rescuer;
• cold remedies;
• painkillers;
• heart and stomach drugs.

The cost of the route includes insurance of the Rosgosstrakh branch in the Altai Territory. The insurance provides for rescue operations using a helicopter if necessary.

An insurance policy is issued in the amount of RUB 1665 age up to 65 years. If the tourist is over 65 years old – age supplement applied.

It is advisable for tourists going on the route to have a vaccination against tick-borne encephalitis.

To prevent a tick bite, the following rules should be observed:

When going for a walk in the forest or on an excursion, you need to dress in such a way as to reduce the possibility of ticks getting under your clothes. Clothing should fit snugly to the body, it is desirable that there are elastic cuffs on the arms and legs of the trousers. Ticks are easier to find on light clothes.
Remember that most of the ticks are in the grass, so it is better to choose dry open places with sandy soil for rest. It is not recommended to bring freshly picked flowers and branches from the forest.
Every 15 minutes you need to do a superficial examination of clothing, and every 2 hours – a complete examination of the body.

Pack horses are used ror transportation of group equipment (tents, awnings, campfire equipment) and food on the route starting from the third day. They accompany the group to the lake Ak-kem (5th day). You carry only personal items and a sleeping bag (6-8 kg) in your backpacks. On the 6th and 7th days of the program you have radial exits from the base camp on Lake Ak-Kem without heavy loads.

If desired, you can order an additional horse for carrying personal belongings. The cost of one horse is from RUB 1500 per day (it is necessary to pay six days: 4 days to Ak-Kem Lake + 2 days to return the horses). One horse carries up to 40 kg of cargo. The services of a horse breeder are added to the rental of a horse (RUB 1500 / day), one horse breeder can lead up to 4 horses at the same time.

At the end of the route you have the opportunity to relax at the recreation center. Before leaving for the mountains you can reserve a comfortable accommodation for yourself. There is also a storage room at the base where you can leave things that you will not need in the mountains.

Plane and train tickets are not included in the tour price.
