Itinerary

Day 1 - The beginning of the path
Departure from Novosibirsk/Barnaul in Ust-Koksa village.
Departure from Novosibirsk at 20:00. The place of departure is 64 Semey Shamshinykh St. (local time, the difference from Moscow is +4 hours).
Departure from Barnaul at 23:50 (local time, Moscow time+4).
The exact place of departure is the 24-hour complex "Sea Buckthorn" at the address: Novoaltaysk, Dorozhnaya St., 13 (Novoaltaysk is a suburb of Barnaul).
Length: by car – 875 km from Novosibirsk / 640 km from Barnaul.
Meals: on the road at your own expense.
Day 2 - Ust-Koksa
Arrival at the tourist complex in Ust-Koksa village.

Ust-Koksa is a picturesque village located in the Uimon valley on the banks of the Koksa River. If desired, you can visit the confluence of two rivers – the Koksa and Katun.

Lunch.

Safety briefing, receiving equipment.

An evening of dating.

Meals: breakfast on the road at your own expense, lunch and dinner at the base.
Accommodation: camping.
Day 3 - Lower Multinskoye Lake
Breakfast.
Transfer to the village of Maralnik.
Transfer to the Lower Multinsky Lake. The path leads through coniferous forests and small picturesque rivers.
Lower Lake is a beautiful large lake with crystal clear water, located at an altitude of 1,700 m, surrounded by cedar trees.
Grayling is found in the lake. The Sleeping Beauty mountain peak is visible from the shore.
Overnight on the lake shore.
Length: by car – 42 km, on foot + packhorses – 13 km.
Meals: breakfast at the base, lunch and dinner – camp kitchen.
Accommodation: overnight in tents.
Day 4 - Upper Multinskoye Lake
Radial access to the Upper Multinsky Lake, located in the nature reserve.

It's been a very busy day. Crossing the Noise is a picturesque rampart of huge stones formed in ancient times by glaciers, a tour of a large cascading waterfall.

Verkhny Lake is the wildest of the three Multin lakes, has an amazing aquamarine color and is surrounded by snow–capped mountains, from which many streams and waterfalls fall. The drop height of one of them is 60 m.

Day 5 - The day
Day trip on the Lower Multinskoye Lake. Rest, swimming, walking.

A radial exit to the observation deck is possible, located at an altitude of 2200 m, which offers stunning views of the Katunsky Ridge, the Lower and Middle Multin Lakes and neighboring valleys!

Length: on foot – 5 km.
Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner – camp kitchen.
Accommodation: overnight in tents.
Day 6 - Kuyguk Valley
Transfer to the Kuyguk Valley.

Kuyguk Valley – the "Singing Gorge" is a very picturesque and cozy valley with many small waterfalls.

The crown of our day is one of the most beautiful and full-flowing waterfalls of Altai with a height of 25 m and a beautiful milky turquoise lake!

Overnight at the waterfall parking lot.

Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner – camp kitchen.
Accommodation: overnight in tents.
Day 7 - Alpine lake
Radial access to a high mountain lake.

This is a very beautiful lake with an amazing color of water, located at an altitude of 2200 m.

The observation deck offers a wonderful view of the entire Kuyguk Valley!

Length: on foot – 3 km.
Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner – camp kitchen.
Accommodation: overnight in tents.
Day 8 - Kuyguk Pass
Today we have to overcome the Kuyguk pass (1A, 2500 m), which offers a beautiful view of the turquoise Achan lakes and the sacred Kolban Mountain!

Waterfalls, snowfields, huge clearings of blue aquilegias and Alpine poppies, and Alpine ice cream are waiting for you on the way to the pass!

Overnight in the Akchan valley.

Accommodation: overnight in tents.
Day 9 - Mount Kolban
Climbing Mount Kolban, 3020 m.

The Altai people consider this mountain sacred and ascribe to it many interesting and romantic legends.

From the top of the mountain there is a fantastic panoramic view of the snowy mountains of the Katun range!

The ascent is subject to good weather conditions.

Return to Kuyguk Valley.

Length: on foot – 8 km.
Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner – camp kitchen.
Accommodation: overnight in tents.
Day 10 - Transfer to Ust-Koksa village
Transfer to the village of Zamult.
On the last day of our trip, the path lies along the clear Akchan river among coniferous forests and blueberry glades.
Transfer to the tourist complex in Ust-Koksa village.
Bathhouse. Farewell party at the base.
Length: on foot – 14 km.
Meals: breakfast and lunch – camp kitchen, dinner – at the base.
Accommodation: camping.
Day 11 - Departure
Breakfast.

Equipment delivery.

Free time: walking, buying souvenirs and Altai honey.

Lunch.

In the afternoon departure to Barnaul/Novosibirsk.

Length: by car – 640 km to Barnaul / 875 km to Novosibirsk.
Meals: breakfast and lunch at the base, dinner on the road at your own expense.
Day 12 - End of the program
Arrival in Barnaul/Novosibirsk.
Estimated arrival in Barnaul at 6:30, in Novosibirsk at 9:00 (local time, Moscow time+4).

It's important to know

Documents – passport, medical policy.
The money is for additional expenses (meals on the road, a sauna, souvenirs, etc.).
Clothes:
- Warm clothes: a jacket or down jacket, warm trousers (for example, with fleece lining), a warm sweater (made of wool or fleece), warm socks, gloves, a hat.
- Raincoat or waterproof storm jacket. A fabric raincoat with taped seams or a membrane jacket will do. If you decide to take an inexpensive, oilcloth raincoat, take several pieces at once (with a margin).
- Waterproof/windproof pants. Fabric trousers with taped seams from the "jacket/pants" kits, which are sold in hunting, fishing, tourism stores, or membrane trousers, will be suitable.
- The main set of clothes: lightweight sweatpants for transitions, several T-shirts, underwear, several pairs of socks, a sun hat.
- Sleepwear: a set of thermal underwear or a thin knitted set (T-shirt with sleeves and tights). A separate pair of warm socks.
Shoes:
- Trekking boots (you can wear well-worn "boots" or other high boots with a solid sole).
- Sneakers or sneakers.
- Slates.
Personal first aid kit:
- Medicines for specific diseases.
- Elastic bandage.
- Adhesive plaster (plain, white, 3-4 cm wide).
