Itinerary

Day 1 - Getting to know Altai. The Chuisky tract. The Katun River. Patmos Island and Chemalskaya HPP
08:15-09:00 Group meeting at the airport of Gorno-Altaysk. We recommend a flight to this city.

07:00 In Novosibirsk (Vokzalnaya Magistral-1, Marins Park Hotel);
10:30 a.m. Near Barnaul, Sea Buckthorn Group (Novoaltaysk, Dorozhnaya St., 13).
The Chuisky tract is listed as one of the 10 most beautiful roads in the world, and on this day we will get to know only a small historical part of it.
Check-in at the campsite for 2 people per room.
Guided tour of the picturesque island of Patmos and the Chemalskaya hydroelectric power station.
You will walk across the suspension bridge to the chapel located on the island, right in the middle of the mountain river.
Next, you will walk along the goat trail to the oldest hydroelectric power station in Russia in the 30s.
Supper.
An evening of dating.
Accommodation: campsite, double room, room facilities (possibly triple and quadruple, by agreement).

Excursions: 1. Study tour; 2. Patmos island and Chemalskaya HPP.

Day 2 - Blue lakes "Eyes of Katun". Kamyshlinsky waterfall. The rite of fulfillment of desires
Breakfast.
A walk on the ice of Katun to the ice-free blue lakes, poetically called the "Eyes of Katun". Indeed, if you look at the lakes and the river flowing nearby from above, the lakes are very similar to the eyes.
The bravest can swim in the clear blue water (t +9 degrees), there is a sauna nearby.
Lunch at a cafe (extra charge).
Next, we will walk through the charming cedar forest to the frozen blue waterfall – Kamyshlinsky, the walk takes 2 hours, comfortable shoes are needed.
Return to the base.
New Year's Eve dinner in a cafe (extra charge, optional).
New Year's Eve celebration.
On request, a full-fledged New Year's banquet at the Sol Hotel (cost: adults 18,000 rubles, children 6-13 years old 9,000 rubles).
Or you can stay at the base.
19:30-21:30 Buffet, tasting of tinctures in the fireplace area, a wish-making ceremony, a mini-program outside.

You can purchase a holiday set in the room (4,500 rubles). Departure to the fireworks or to the place of power from 23.00 to 02.00 on request.
A bathing ceremony in the "Tree" complex with a dip in the ice hole. From 15,000 rubles per person.

Day 3 - Manzherok Ski Resort
Late breakfast.
The first half of the day is a rest after the celebration.
In the afternoon we will go to the state-of-the-art ski resort "Manzherok".
Here you can go skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and ice skating.
If skiing does not appeal to you, then you can take a gondola lift to the top of Mount Sinyukha, which offers stunning views of the Katun River Valley, mountains and lakes.
There are also many cafes, restaurants and various entertainment options for adults and children in the resort.
Note: payment for the lift and equipment rental is made at your own expense, additionally, on site, according to the price list of the resort.
An evening of creativity and board games in a warm and sincere company.
Dinner by the hearth.
Excursions: Visit to the Manzherok ski resort.

Day 4 - The Gorge of spirits. Askat village of craftsmen
Breakfast.
The tour through the gorge of the mountain spirits is a cult place of the Altaians, named after such an ancient name that scientists cannot decipher its meaning, it is a place of power.
In the gorge, we will visit the stream of health, a cave painting shrine, a cascading waterfall, and an observation deck with stunning views of the Katun River Valley.
Lunch (extra charge).
At the end of the day, we will take a walk through the artisan village of Askat, which is known for its artisans and unusual inhabitants. There we will get acquainted with various types of creativity, learn how to play ethnic instruments, create our own ethnic group, and undergo sound therapy with Tibetan singing bowls.

Excursions: 1. Gorge of mountain spirits; 2. Village of Ascat craftsmen.

Day 5 - The bison reserve. Uch Enmek Nature Park. Throat Singing Concert
Breakfast, packing, room check-in.
Today we are leaving for another district of the Altai Republic – Ulagansky. On the way, you will visit the Bison Reserve, home to 48 bison (this animal species is on the verge of extinction).
You will be able to see these majestic animals and treat them with apples.
Next, our road will pass through the Seminsky Pass (1,717 m), where the Olympic Reserve biathlon base and a large souvenir market are located.
Lunch (extra charge).
Sightseeing tour of Uch Enmek Nature Park.
You will get acquainted with one of the most sacred and mystical places in Altai, see the most ancient archaeological sites, the mystery of which scientists are still puzzling over.
Throat singing concert.
Transfer along the Chui highway, you will go to the border areas with Mongolia.
Check-in at the Rasul campsite.
Dinner at the cafe.

Day 6 - Geyser Lake. Walking on the ice of the frozen Chuya River
Breakfast.
A walk to the geyser lake (hidden). There is blue clay at the bottom of this lake, which gives it such a deep color.
View the panorama of the North Chuya ridge and walk directly across the green ice of the Chuya River towards the Maashey glacier.
Lunch (extra charge).
Christmas dinner.

Excursions: 1. Geyser Lake; 2. Panorama of the North Chuya range; 3. Walk on the ice of the Chuya River.

Day 7 - The red gate. Kidel Lake. Katu-Yaryk Pass. Chulyshman River Valley
Breakfast.
We will take an unusually beautiful route through a narrow gorge between the rocks.
Visit to the Red Gate, mercury Lake.
After crossing the Ulagan Pass, we will see the legendary Pazyryk burial mounds, the valley of the burial of the Scythian kings, shrouded in a veil of secrets. Scientists estimate that some of the mounds are more than 20,000 years old.
Lunch — lunch boxes.
After that, we will visit one of the most beautiful places in the Altai Mountains – the valley of the Chulyshman River. There are amazing views of the mountains from there!
Return trip.
Supper.
Accommodation: campsite, double room, shower and toilet in the room.
Meals: breakfast, dinner.
Excursions: 1. Red Gate; 2. Kidel Lake; 3. Pazyryk mounds; 4. Katu-Yaryk.
The route is 200 km by car and 3 km on foot.
Day 8 - A trip along the Chuisky highway
Morning coffee and breakfast with a view of the snow-covered Christmas trees.
In the morning we will take a walk to the Shirlak waterfall.
Next, we will find the ancient route that traders traveled to Mongolia and admire the panorama of the Chuya River.
We will take a tour of the Kalbak-Tash rock art complex, where over 5,000 petroglyphs have been preserved, from the Stone Age to the present day.
We will visit the place of power at the confluence of two stormy rivers – Katun and Chuya.
Supper.
Accommodation: campsite, double room, shower and toilet in the room.
Meals: breakfast, dinner.
Excursions: Confluence of Chuya and Katun rivers; Kalbak-Tash petroglyphs; Shirlak Waterfall.
The length of the route by car is 355 km, on foot – 4 km.
Day 9 - Swan Lake. Return transfer
07:00-08:00 Breakfast.
Check out of the rooms.
08:00-10:00 Transfer to the Lebediny Nature Reserve.
A place where wild whooping swans and ducks stay for the winter.
10:00-11:00 Walk along Lake Svetloye, where you can admire graceful birds through a frosty haze and feed them with oats.
This concludes our tour.
Farewell of the participants to each other.
Next, there is a transfer program to choose from, depending on the city of your return flight.:
1 Option. For those who plan, who plan to stay overnight in Gorno-Altaysk and take morning flights the next day.
11.00-13.00: Transfer from the Lebediny Nature Reserve to the Igman Hotel (we recommend booking accommodation there in advance, in case of overnight stay in Gorno-Altaysk, it is paid additionally).

Option 2. For those who plan to fly daytime flights from Gorno-Altaysk.
11.00-13.15: Transfer from the reserve "Lebediny" to the airport of Gorno-Altaysk.
Option 3. For those who do not plan to go to the Lebediny Nature Reserve and want to take morning flights from Gorno-Altaysk airport. 07.00-07.30: Breakfast (buffet, check-out).
07.30-08.00: Self-service transfer to Gorno-Altaysk airport by taxi, operated by Yandex. Taxi, the average check for a trip is 500 rubles.
Option 4. For those who plan to fly out or leave Barnaul.
11.00-12.00: Transfer to Biysk.
12.00-13.00: Lunch at a cafe (self-paid).
13.00-15.00: Transfer to Novoaltaysk, Dorozhnaya street-13, Sea Buckthorn Group. This location is a large roadside complex with cafes, toilets, a recreation area, and a shop. You can call a taxi here to take you to the desired location in Barnaul. Please note! The city of Novoaltaysk is located near the city of Barnaul, but this is not Barnaul, the transfer is a pass-through, without entering the city itself, the approximate travel time by taxi from the Sea Buckthorn Group to Barnaul airport is about 1 hour, the taxi is paid for independently.
Option 5. For those who plan to fly out or leave Novosibirsk.
11.00-12.00: Transfer to Biysk.
12.00-13.00: Lunch at a cafe (self-paid).
13.00-19.30: Transfer to Novosibirsk, Lenin-84. Farewell to the participants. We recommend that you stay at the Marins Park Hotel, you will be taken directly to the parking lot of this hotel, the hotel charges extra.

It's important to know

Shoes: comfortable boots / valenki / ugg boots / boots for excursions (Without heels!!). The main thing is that the shoes are warm and do not slip. Because there is no asphalt in Altai, we walk along paths and a rocky surface. You can take warm slippers (it is convenient to walk indoors);

Outerwear: a ski suit (if not, then you can replace it with trousers on a sintepon and a non-blown jacket), a warm hat, a scarf or balaclava, ski gloves, or other warm mittens / gloves.

Clothing: warm sweater, thermal underwear (can be replaced with a warm tracksuit), wool socks, regular socks.

A personal first aid kit with the medicines you need. There are pharmacies along the route, but not everywhere and the choice of medicines is very limited.

Personal hygiene items: toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, washcloth. flip-flops, a swimsuit (if you want to swim in Blue lakes).

Basic things can be carried in a suitcase. Things can be transported in any bags and suitcases. Do not take extra things with you. Altai hotels do not have a service for delivering things to the room, 90% of hotels are not equipped with elevators, you will carry things from the car to the room yourself.

A small backpack for radial walks. Where there will be everything you need for the day (dry mittens, a jacket, water or a thermos, a camera, etc.).

Sunscreens and glasses. Altai has a very active sun, even in frosty weather. Therefore, we recommend taking sunscreen.

Of the useful, but not mandatory things:

Individual small thermos flask,

A hob or a tourist seat.

A shoe dryer is optional, but it will be more comfortable to travel with them.

About alcohol (for whom it is relevant). You can take alcohol with you. There will be a choice in stores, but not much.

Cash!!! Cards are not accepted at souvenir markets, and there may not be a connection for transfer.
