Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Gorno-Altaysk – Swan Lake – Ust-Koksa

    Meeting with guides at the airport of Gorno-Altaisk, check-in at a cafe for breakfast. 

    Next, we will drive to Lake Svetloye, where the Swan Reserve is located. 

    This is one of the unique phenomena that can be observed only in winter – huge flocks of swans arriving for the winter to a non-freezing lake in the Altai Territory. 

    You can listen to the continuous chirping of swans, try to understand what they are talking about, and at the same time feed them. 

    Then we go to Ust-Koksa. 

    Along the way, we will overcome 4 mountain passes: Chiket-Aman, Yabogan, Kirlyk and Gromotukhinsky, stop for lunch in the village of Ust-Kan, and in the evening we will reach the final point – the village of Ust-Koksa. 

    Overnight at the hotel.

    Length: by car – 570 km, on foot – 1.5 km.

    Meals: dinner.

  • The surcharge for single occupancy is 27,500 rubles.

The route is designed for a driver guide and 2-3 passengers in a car.

It is located in the village of Chemal. It offers a terrace, a restaurant, a tour desk and free Wi-Fi in all areas. Room service is available. Guests can book family rooms.

Each room here will provide you with a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom.

A la carte breakfast is served daily at the Chemalskoye Podvorye Mini-Hotel.
