Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival at Solovki. Guided tour of the Solovetsky Monastery. White Sea Whale Watching Tour
Arrival at Kem station, meeting, transfer to the pier in Rabochiostrovsk.
08:00 Departure from Rabochiostrovsk by boat (2 hours journey).
Those arriving in Kem later and who do not catch the boat at 08:00 depart by boat at 12:30 without losing the excursion program.
10:00 Arrival, transfer to the guest house, we leave our things.
10:45 Sightseeing tour of the Solovetsky Monastery (2.5 hours). The monastery is not only a historical landmark. This is a monastery inhabited by monks, people who have withdrawn from secular society and devoted themselves to fasting and prayer.
We will visit the territory of the central complex of the monastery, active temples, monuments included in the UNESCO List, objects of economic activity.
14:00 Lunch at the guest house, check into a cozy guest cottage in double rooms with amenities, rest.
16:00 Sea tour to the whales of the White Sea – belugas (2 hours).
There is a special place on Solovki – Cape Beluzhy – a sea trip here will be remembered by every minute. The cape water area is one of the few places on the planet where you can observe whales in the wild. From the beginning of June to the middle of August, during low tide at sea, whale mating games, birth and upbringing of cubs take place here.

Day 2 - Sekirnaya Mountain. Holy Ascension Skete. The History of the Solovetsky Archipelago Tour
Breakfast at the guest house.
10:00 Sekirnaya Mountain bus and walking tour. Holy Ascension Skete" (2-2.5 hours).
We will visit one of the highest points of Bolshoy Solovetsky Island, Mount Sekirnaya, from the top of which you can enjoy an unforgettable view of the northern part of Bolshoy Solovetsky Island and the White Sea. We will learn the history of the monuments of the current Holy Ascension Skete, where there was a penal isolation unit during the time of the Solovetsky camp.
Lunch.

An exciting walking tour is dedicated to the part of the island that is located behind the monastery walls, in the world. Like an ancient scroll, the Solovetsky stories unfold in the southern part of the village, and from the guide's words, century after century, the modern world grows.

Day 3 - A boat tour to the Archipelago of Kuzova. Picnic lunch
Traditional breakfast.
09:00 Boat tour to the Kuzova archipelago (5 hours).
The body is a pearl necklace of the White Sea. It's like a stone giant passing by threw a handful of gems into the sea, and now two dozen islands are drifting across the vast expanses of water. Every step up the slope of the German Body Island (the highest elevation in the entire Karelian White Sea) opens up new, stunningly beautiful landscapes. There are "stone women" all around, and in the distance there is an ancient man's camp, which amaze the imagination.
Please note! This tour is not recommended for people with limited mobility and over 65 years of age, as there is a half-hour uphill climb. You may be offered an alternative – a boat trip to Long Bay or another tour by appointment.
14:00 Lunch-picnic in nature.
Imagine: a table is set on the shore of the endless White Sea, you are chatting with friends, lighting a bonfire, and the chefs are preparing a real Pomeranian dinner. Cod ear, fried herring, kelp salad, berry pickles, herbal tea, tinctures. Of course, all products are natural and local.
Free time, dinner on your own.
You can just take a walk or, for example, rent a boat and go for a walk along the lakes and canals of Solovki.

Day 4 - Sea tour of the sights of Bolshoy Zayatsky Island. Completion of the program
09:00 We have breakfast and pack our things in advance.
10:00 Boat tour of the sights of Bolshoy Zayatsky Island (2.5 - 3 hours).
Zayatsky Island is unique. It is special even in the list of Solovetsky Islands, because it offers an amazing panorama of the Solovetsky Monastery.
A delicate floral and berry carpet, dancing birches and gray glacial boulders. An atmosphere of immense peace and happiness.
The final lunch.
Transfer to the pier.
The ship departs at 19:30. For those who wish, you can go by boat at 15:30.
Arrival in Rabochiostrovsk, transfer to the railway station, the end of the program.

The tour includes accommodation in a guest house on Florenskoe.

The cost of the tour depends on the accommodation:

double occupancy – 62,500 rubles.;
single room – 73,400 rubles.

If there are available seats, it is possible to move in.

It is possible to stay in other accommodation facilities, the cost is on request.

In the southern part of the village of Solovetsky, a five-minute walk from the Kremlin, there is a brick cottage.

The cozy rooms for two and three people are equipped with a bathroom and a shower cabin.

The maximum capacity is 11 people.

Good afternoon! We were on the "Northern Lights Hunt" tour in Arkhangelsk from March 2 to 5. Overall, everything was very well organized, and we would especially like to thank our guide Marina for the informative excursions and her warm, caring attitude toward us throughout the trip. Unfortunately, because of the weather, we didn’t get a chance to see the Northern Lights, which was a bit disappointing. Still, thank you very much for the wonderful trip and the excellent organization.

I really enjoyed the trip—thanks to the tour managers! Everything was well-organized and clearly planned. I especially appreciated how quickly they responded to any questions I had and explained everything patiently. Even though I was traveling solo, all the excursions felt lively and engaging. It was a bit disappointing that the last tour was canceled, but I appreciated the advance notice, which gave me the chance to arrange a visit on my own. I’ll definitely recommend you!
