An exciting water kayaking trip around the largest peninsula of Lake Baikal. Baikal is a Holy Nose. This is a natural area with rich vegetation and a habitat for rare species of animals of the national park. In addition to all the adventures on Lake Baikal, you will have to climb the plateau. 

On the tour, you will walk through the water area in the most deserted places of the lake. We invite those who are prepared and not very well, but who like hiking conditions. If you don't know how to kayak, our guides will teach you.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Ulan-Ude. Transfer to the Trans-Baikal National Park. Preparation for the alloy

    Meeting in Ulan-Ude near the Barguzin Hotel (28 Sovetskaya St.) at 6:45 a.m. local time, without delay.

    If they are late, the participants catch up with the group on their own.

    Transfer along the scenic highway to the village of Ust-Barguzin.

    Lunch will be in a cafe with a national flavor, where you can independently purchase what you like.

    Outside the window, we will be accompanied by a view of Lake Baikal.

    Departure to Zabaikalsky National Park.

    Almost everything that can be seen on Lake Baikal is collected in the park.

On the active part of the route, overnight stays in 4-5-bed tourist tents.

The surcharge for 2-bed accommodation is 4,000 rubles.

Tent camp 9 nights

Overnight stays in 4-5-bed tents on the route. The tents are shared, there is no gender division. When applying, be sure to clarify your wishes for accommodation in the tent with the manager (for example, if you have a married couple, you want to live alone and other basic wishes for accommodation).

The participants themselves take turns cooking food along the entire route, set up tents, harvest firewood and carry out the transfer of all necessary equipment (including kayaks).

Personal equipment you need for the tour

Equipment and accessories:

  • a backpack for women with a volume of at least 70-80 liters, for men 80-90 liters.;
  • polyurethane mat;
  • a plastic bag or a hermetic bag (inserted inside the backpack to protect it from moisture);
  • head lamp;
  • sunglasses;
  • sleeping bag — temperature regime depending on the time of the year and the place of travel;
  • spoon, mug, knife;
  • rain cover — only for routes where the temperature is above freezing;
  • matches sealed in polyethylene or plastic packaging or a lighter.
  • individual first-aid kit (with the necessary set of personal and specific medicines, no more than 200 grams by weight);
  • photo camera;
  • thermos flask or plastic bottle;
  • protective equipment against bites of blood-sucking insects on routes (mainly on routes where the temperature does not drop below zero);
  • sunburn remedies (always in the mountains and traveling by water)

Clothing, shoes, etc.:

  • underwear — at least 2-3 sets;
  • thermal underwear (set, depending on the time of the year. Jacket + tights) - 1-2 pcs —;
  • trousers are light, athletic, for daily wear, depending on the time of the year;
  • jacket, fleece, etc. 1-2 pieces (preferably made of modern materials);
  • storm suit – jacket + trousers. Availability is mandatory (In summer, protection from wind and rain. Jacket – better insulated with a hood (according to the time of the year. As a rule, it must be available in the mountains and on Lake Baikal. Trousers – protection from wind and moisture. In the cold season, you can use a ski suit or the like, depending on the climatic conditions));
  • plain (or tracking) socks — 2-4 pairs;
  • wool socks (trekking, insulated) — at least 2 pairs;
  • 2 pairs of shoes — trekking boots and sneakers with thick soles or sneakers + rubber boots with a liner and a warm insole;
  • for rafting on mountain rivers, clothes made of neoprene are desirable (you can rent them, request in advance);
  • for climbing – mountain climbing boots + trekking boots;
  • lightweight sneakers are optional (for traveling, recreation centers, on trains, etc.);
  • trekking poles are recommended only for hiking routes, combined at the discretion of the participants.;

Note: During the day in the mountains, the sun is active and snowmelt is possible, so shoes should have good water-repellent properties (rubber boots (in addition to boots)).

  • warm sports cap — 2 pcs. (in summer, a cap with a visor + a cap);
  • personal hygiene products (toothbrush and paste, toilet paper, etc.);
  • gloves in summer are a simple 2 pairs.

Important! It is mandatory to have the following documents on the entire route: a passport, a compulsory medical insurance policy, a birth certificate for the child, a certificate from a therapist if there are chronic diseases (the tourist assumes responsibility for his health on the tour).

The requirement for a set of "personal belongings" is nothing superfluous and heavy, since in addition to them you will have to carry food (about 600-800 grams per day per person) for the entire route and group equipment (tents, axes, boilers, etc.).

Personal equipment for the water route must include a waterproof suit and rubber boots (please take care of your health and do not stay in cold water for long periods without special shoes).
