Day 1 - Arrival in Irkutsk. Listvyanka tour and the Taltsy Museum
After arriving in Irkutsk, you will go towards Listvyanka along the picturesque Baikal highway to get acquainted with Lake Baikal.
Listvyanka is a kind of tourism Mecca among all visitors to Irkutsk, the starting point of many sightseeing routes along Lake Baikal.
This is the closest place to the city where you can see the Pearl of Siberia.
You will visit an amazing and interesting place – the Taltsy open-air museum.
This is a museum that has absorbed architectural wooden exhibits from different centuries.
Located in a picturesque place among the forest and the river, it immerses in another time with its atmosphere, and the guide's stories seem to be transported to another time: this is how residents of different times, their way of life and way of life are seen.

Day 2 - Free day in Listvyanka
Today is free from excursions.
You can relax, buy souvenirs, enjoy local cuisine, visit the seal garden, where cute seals – endemic to Lake Baikal – show a wonderful performance for guests.
Tonight will be the final evening in Listvyanka.
Tomorrow you will go to a place that will introduce you to a completely different Lake Baikal!

Day 3 - A trip to the heart of Lake Baikal – Olkhon Island
Today begins the journey to the heart of Lake Baikal – Olkhon Island.
Olkhon is a truly unforgettable and one of the most famous places on Lake Baikal, which is rightfully called a place of power and especially powerful energy!
Olkhon is considered a sacred territory, a concentration of shamanism in Central Asia.
It is visited by pilgrims from all over the world. According to legend, Genghis Khan is buried here.
Most of the day will be spent on a journey that will run along a picturesque road, the nature around, painted in warm and rich golden autumn shades, causes special admiration!
Olkhon Island is reached by ferry, to which you will drive along a real "Martian Road", as our tourists often say about the Tazheran steppes.
Landscapes really transport you to some kind of alien reality!
Arriving on the island, you will settle in its center – the village of Khuzhir.
In the evening you have free time, which you can spend exploring the surroundings of the village.
Within walking distance from the hotels on Olkhon is the business card of Lake Baikal – Cape Burkhan (Shamanka rock).
Shamanka is included in the attractions of the Baikal National Park.

Day 4 - Excursion to the north of the island to Cape Hoboy
Today you will immerse yourself even more in the atmosphere of Lake Baikal.
After breakfast, you will head to the north of Olkhon Island.
The northern part of the island is completely different from what you previously saw on Olkhon.
This is not only the vast expanses of the steppes, but also the impenetrable taiga, sand dunes, and even stilted trees.
As part of the tour, you will visit Cape Sagan-Khushun (or "Three Brothers"), a sheer cliff made of snow–white marble.
The views from here will amaze you with their scale!
After that, you will reach the most popular location in the northern part of Olkhon – Cape Khoboy.
The cape is located in the very north of the island.
Its name is translated from the language of the local population as "fang", and indeed, the rocky steep shores in these places resemble animal fangs.
And together with the amazingly blue water surface, they create beautiful bright natural paintings.
From the water, the outline of the cape resembles the figure of a woman, which is associated with the legend that the Gods of Tengri made a stone statue of her because of her excessive greed, and she is destined to remain a stone as long as there is envy on Earth!
On Khoboy, you will have a delicious picnic lunch in the fresh air, after which you will go to an energetically very strong place on Olkhon - Cape Lyubov (or Cape Shunte-Levy).
Locals say that childless couples used to come to the cape, and after the rituals and prayers, they soon had children.
It is believed that the cape has not lost its magical power to this day.
In addition, as part of the tour, you will capture the amazing and impressive modern sculpture "Keeper of Lake Baikal", made by the famous sculptor Dashi Namdakov.
It was a gift to Lake Baikal, which has now become a place that attracts tourists.
In the evening you will return back to Khuzhir, the rest of the day can be devoted to horseback riding (you must inform in advance before leaving for Olkhon).

Olkhon Island is reached by ice crossing in the winter season and by ferry in the summer. In the off-season on khivus (hovercraft).

If the ice crossing does not work for climatic reasons, then the tourist pays for the crossing on Khivus himself.
