Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Arrival in Irkutsk. Listvyanka tour and the Taltsy Museum

    After arriving in Irkutsk, you will go towards Listvyanka along the picturesque Baikal highway to get acquainted with Lake Baikal.

    Listvyanka is a kind of tourism Mecca among all visitors to Irkutsk, the starting point of many sightseeing routes along Lake Baikal. 

    This is the closest place to the city where you can see the Pearl of Siberia.

    You will visit an amazing and interesting place – the Taltsy open-air museum.

    This is a museum that has absorbed architectural wooden exhibits from different centuries. 

    Located in a picturesque place among the forest and the river, it immerses in another time with its atmosphere, and the guide's stories seem to be transported to another time: this is how residents of different times, their way of life and way of life are seen.

    Driving up to Listvyanka, you will learn a fascinating and beautiful legend about Lake Baikal and Angara, and see the legendary Shaman Stone. 

    After that, visit the Baikal Museum, which not only conducts expositional and educational activities, but also continues to engage in serious scientific research, and therefore you will not find out such information about Lake Baikal "first-hand" anywhere.

    After the tour, you will have free time to walk along the marina, visit the fish market, relax and check in.
