Day 1 - Arrival in Irkutsk. Listvyanka tour and the Taltsy Museum
After arriving in Irkutsk, you will head towards Listvyanka along the picturesque Baikal highway to explore Lake Baikal. (meeting place: Angara hotel or airport, the organizer will send the exact time the day before).
Listvyanka is a kind of tourism Mecca among all visitors to Irkutsk, the starting point of many sightseeing routes around Lake Baikal.
This is the closest place to the city where you can see the Pearl of Siberia.
You will visit an amazing and interesting place – the open-air museum "Taltsy".

Day 3 - A trip to the heart of Lake Baikal – Olkhon Island
Today begins the journey to the heart of Lake Baikal – the island of Olkhon.
Olkhon is a truly unforgettable and one of the most famous places on Lake Baikal, which is rightfully called a place of power and especially powerful energy!
Olkhon is considered a sacred territory, a concentration of shamanism in Central Asia.
It is visited by pilgrims from all over the world. According to legend, Genghis Khan is buried here.
Most of the day will be spent on the way, which will run along a picturesque road, the nature around, painted in warm and rich golden autumn shades, is especially admirable!
Olkhon Island is reached by ferry, to which you will drive along a real "Martian Road", as our tourists often say about the Tajeran steppes.
The landscapes really transport you to some kind of alien reality!
Arriving on the island, you will settle in its center – the village of Khuzhir.
In the evening, you have free time to spend exploring the surroundings of the village.
Within walking distance from the hotels on Olkhon is the calling card of Lake Baikal – Cape Burkhan (Shamanka rock).
Shamanka is one of the attractions of the Baikal National Park.

Day 4 - Excursion to the north of the island to Cape Hoboy
Today you will immerse yourself even more in the atmosphere of Lake Baikal.
After breakfast, you will go on an excursion to the picturesque part of the island – to the north, to Cape Khoboy.
The path will pass through many interesting locations!
It is worth noting that the weather on Lake Baikal is excellent in autumn, the air temperature is not as high as in summer, which makes walking around the surroundings especially pleasant.
From the village of Khuzhir, we will first go to the observation deck in the village of Kharantsy and explore the Lion's Head and Crocodile Islands in the distance.
From the outside, it looks like a big stone crocodile is trying to catch up with a huge stone lion!
Next, our way through a picturesque location called the Sandy tract!
There are very interesting places here: a popular summer beach with pomegranate sand, and there used to be a fish factory where prisoners of a small gulag worked.
Along the way, you will also see Cape Sagan-Khushun (or "Three Brothers"), a sheer cliff of snow–white marble, after which we will reach Cape Khoboy.
The cape is located in the very north of the island.
Its name translates from the language of the local population as "fang", and indeed, the rocky steep shores in these places resemble animal fangs.
Being near the edge of the cape, Lake Baikal seems endless, you can feel its greatness!
On the way back, you will visit Cape Lyubov (or Cape Shunte-Levy).
Locals say that childless couples used to come to the cape, and after rituals and prayers, they would soon have children.
It is believed that the cape has not lost its magical power to this day.
You will also see with your own eyes the unusual and impressive creation of the famous sculptor Dasha Namdakov "The Keeper of Lake Baikal" — this is his gift to Lake Baikal.
The sculpture is located at some distance from the roads, on a hill.
The "Guardian" looks extremely authentic and majestic!

The tour operator does not guarantee the tourist accommodation in a specific hotel selected by the tourist from the list.

The tour operator has the right to replace the hotel listed in the list with a similar one in terms of category and cost.

The check-in involves the accommodation of up to 3 tourists in the room.

Each tourist is provided with a separate sleeping place.

If, for reasons beyond the control of the Tour Operator (cancellation or postponement of other tourists' accommodation with check-in on the same dates), a tourist could not find a check-in at any point on the route, the Tour Operator has the right to put the tourist in a single economy room.

The tourist, for whom there was no accommodation, has the opportunity to stay in a single room "standard" with an additional fee.

To do this, the tourist must independently check with the Tour Operator no later than 14 days before the start of the tour whether there was a check-in for him and inform him of his desire to make an additional payment for accommodation in a single room "standard".

Olkhon Island is reached by ice crossing in the winter season and by ferry in the summer. In the off-season on khivus (hovercraft).

If the ice crossing does not work for climatic reasons, then the tourist pays for the crossing on Khivus himself.

The composition and size of the group may change throughout the tour.

Guides may change throughout the tour.

A guide who is an expert of this location is assigned to each location. The tour coordinator is always alone.
