Itinerary

Day 1 - Meeting. Listvyanka village. Excursion to the Limnological Museum
We will meet at Irkutsk airport Terminal No. 3 at 10:00 a.m. (please plan your arrival in advance).
Boarding the bus, we immediately begin a short sightseeing tour of the city.
The city was founded in 1661.
Today Irkutsk is the fifth largest city in Siberia.
After exploring the city, we move to the village of Listvyanka, where the Angara River originates.
Visit to the Limnological Museum, the nerpinarium.
An amazing museum with the best exhibits and 11 aquariums.
You will find out why Lake Baikal is so clean, what mysteries it hides, who lives in this unique lake.
In your free time, visit the Baikal fish market.
We recommend you to try hot smoked omul!
After lunch (at our own expense) we return to Irkutsk, check into a hotel and relax.
Dinner on your own at a hotel or any cafe in Irkutsk.
Relax, walk around the city on your own.

Day 2 - Free day. Optional excursions
Breakfast at the hotel.
Today is a free day of stay in Irkutsk.
We offer several excursions to choose from, which must be purchased when buying a tour.
Tour of the Circum-Baikal railway (starting from 7.00 a.m. to 21.00 p.m. (the exact time will be on the ticket).
The tour is interesting because the road runs along steep cliffs that descend directly to the lake.
The Baikal Railway is considered unique and is a historical and cultural complex!
You will see tunnels, stone galleries, bridges and viaducts.
And all this is 85 km away! (the meeting place of the group is on the ticket or voucher for the tour).
We can offer a boat trip to Sandy Bay.
The tour is conducted only on Lake Baikal, it will be almost impossible to get there on your own.
You will see unique natural monuments, rocks, a sandy beach and stilted trees.
And another equally interesting car tour to the Tunka Valley, where you will see the Bolshoy Vostochny Sayan massif in the south of Lake Baikal.
All excursions end in the evening, return to Irkutsk.

Day 3 - Transfer to Olkhon Island
We have an early breakfast and move (approximately from 8-30 to 17 o'clock) as part of a team group (regular transport is used to quickly pass out of turn on the ferry. Accompanied by a driver).
The steppe landscape already prevails here, and the mountains behind Lake Baikal will be visible in the distance to the right and left.
At a stop on the road, we have lunch at a roadside cafe, where you can try the national dish of buuza (pay at your own expense).
We drive up to Lake Baikal (the Strait of the Small Sea) and cross by ferry.
The Olkhon Gate will open the eastern side of Lake Baikal in front of you.
We drive about 30 km. on the island of Olkhon by a country road to the village of Khuzhir.
There are no paved roads here.
Here we check into the tourist base.
Room accommodation depends on the selected option.
A short walk will introduce you to the village and the famous sacred place of the Shaman.
Dinner on your own at the cafe of the village.
We recommend you to try buuz, khushuri, bovy, buchler, etc., or just have a picnic on the beach.

Day 4 - Trip to Cape Khoboy
The length of Olkhon Island is 80 km and today we have a trip to its north.
After breakfast at the campsite, we are going to take warmer clothes and a bottle of water with us. Approximately at 10 a.m. we leave for Cape Khoboy (the trip duration is from 5 to 6 hours).
When entering the Baikal National Park, we show the permit (it will be issued to the driver in advance).
On the way, visit the legendary "Three Brothers" rock and the romantic Cape of Love.
From the northern point of the island, there is a view of both shores of Lake Baikal.
Khoboy means "fang" in translation.
A certain energy is manifested on the cape, therefore it serves as a place of meditation for various spiritual schools.
In these places, it is not recommended to get angry, shout and swear.
Attention! The trip is a sightseeing tour of Olkhon Island and is carried out by UAZ class cars, combined groups.
We have lunch at the cape (included in the price), rest and return to the base at about 17 o'clock.
Dinner on your own.
We try the local cuisine in different cafes.
If you have planned additional excursions for tomorrow, prepare yourself (water or a snack if meals are not planned).

Day 5 - Free time or additional excursions
We have breakfast at the campsite.
Holidays on Lake Baikal or excursions of your choice (all excursions are paid in advance, upon purchase of the tour).
We recommend visiting Ogoy Island, going to the South of Lake Baikal, taking a boat ride in the evening, and taking a walk along the ecological trail in the Sarai Bay.
A Buddhist Stupa is a building with a cult significance and means "support for offerings" in translation.
Ogoy Island was chosen for the Stupa as an ideal place where the confrontation of the four elements is most pronounced: fire, whose functions are performed by the sun, water, earth and wind.
Don't forget to buy souvenirs and take a photo as a keepsake.
Self-catering, we try the local cuisine in different cafes.

Day 6 - Return to Irkutsk
After breakfast, we are going to return to the mainland.
Today it is advisable to get up early at dawn and go to Lake Baikal, make all your cherished wishes.
Farewell to Lake Baikal!
Departure from Olkhon Island as part of the national team from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
We return to Irkutsk by the same road, make a stop on the way, have lunch on our own and arrive in the city around 17 o'clock.
We are staying at the hotel, having a rest.
You have a little more time to visit the Siberian town, walk along the streets, walk along the embankment of the Angara River.
We recommend visiting the 130 block and seeing with your own eyes the reconstruction of ancient houses of merchants and artisans, try the cuisine in restaurants.

Day 7 - Completion of the program
Completion of the program.
