Colorful Ufa
We will walk around the capital of Bashkortostan, see many monuments, and visit the national Museum.
Bashkir culture
We will learn about national costumes and arrange a photo shoot, shoot arrows and, of course, taste delicious Bashkir dishes.
Nature of the Southern Urals
We will visit the Krasnousolsky resort, Toratau Geopark and take a walk to the picturesque Ukly-Kaya cliff.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Guided tour of Ufa, lunch with elements of Bashkir cuisine, a master class on cooking baursak

    Meeting of the group at 10:00 local time (the difference from Moscow time is + 2 hours) in Ufa – the central entrance of the Ufa department store (31 Oktyabrya Avenue).

    Ufa city tour program, which includes:

    • The main objects of the exhibition are: S.T. Aksakov Garden, monument to M. Karim, Monument of Friendship, Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, First Cathedral Mosque, Sofyushkina Alley, Government House, M. Gafuri Theater;
    • inspection of the Monument to M.M. Shaimuratov, the legendary Bashkir hero, commander of the 112th Bashkir Cavalry Division;
    • visit to the National Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan – over 190 thousand exhibits telling about the nature, history, culture of our region and the peoples inhabiting it.

    Lunch with elements of Bashkir cuisine.

    Transfer to the campsite (140 km from Ufa). Placement.

    A master class on cooking baursak, a traditional Bashkir dish.

    Since ancient times, baursak was not just a pastry, it symbolized the sun and happiness. Therefore, it was prepared on special days and treated only to the most dear and kind guests.

The campsite is located near the geographical center of Bashkiria, in the Zilim Nature Park.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi; barbecue area, stable yard, catamaran rental, sauna. 

Each domed house has 3 rooms (2-3-bed).

Room facilities: single/double beds with orthopedic mattresses, cabinets/shelves for storing things, mirror.

Personal equipment you need for the tour
  • personal documents and a compulsory medical insurance policy;

Pay careful attention to the choice of clothes and shoes: warm and comfortable, allowing you to move (excursions to natural sites).

Baggage standards: volume – up to 70 liters. Weight – up to 20 kg. Dimensions – 65x40x25 cm.

The most convenient for the main luggage will be a backpack or a shipping bag. Traveling with a suitcase on wheels in a natural area is less convenient.

    The tour was excellently organized. We traveled in a comfortable bus with a professional and friendly driver. The accommodation and meals were also very good. I would especially like to highlight our guide, Elena. Her deep knowledge, outstanding understanding of the region, engaging and expressive storytelling, subtle sense of humor, and excellent communication skills make her a top-class professional. She managed to bring together a group of very different people and became our leader and the heart of the group throughout all 10 days. There was, however, one thing that slightly detracted from the overall impression: the indifferent attitude and reluctance to address guests’ concerns on the part of the administration of the Chaika campsite at the Nugush Reservoir.
