In short: it's going to be cold. Definitely needed.
And now for more details:
The weather can be different. There may be pleasant -10s, or frosts up to -30 may hit.
Warm clothes and a down jacket are necessary.
Even if the forecast shows +20, please don't believe it!) After all, forecasts show the temperature in the nearest city, not in the mountains. And it's always colder in the mountains.
And also, unlike in the city, you won't have the opportunity to stop by a cafe or shop on the way to warm up: it's just you and the stock of things that you brought with you.
It can even get hot when crossing under a backpack. But it's worth stopping, taking off your backpack at a rest stop, and it gets cold right away.
We also have a lot of light walks to the peaks, and there will be a very strong wind. It is able to blow out all the heat in seconds.
With the right equipment, any weather is good, so please take our recommendations seriously, especially if you haven't gone on winter hikes yet.
It's better to take one extra thing and not use it than not to take it, freeze, get sick, and ruin your entire vacation.
Make sure you have warm shoes, mittens, and very warm outerwear. A suitable expedition down jacket can be rented from us if necessary.
A thermos of warm tea and chemical heating pads will also help keep warm.
The main thing is to dress warmly, we'll take care of everything else.
