It's important to know

Personal equipment you need for the tour

Equipment:

  • assault backpack (20-35 liters);
  • backpack for a long hike (90 l for men, 70 l for women) with a belt;
  • a cape on a backpack;
  • spring-autumn sleeping bag (comfort temperature -5 * C);
  • podpopnik (hob, tourist seat);
  • headlamp LED flashlight;
  • trekking poles;

Clothes:

  • sleep clothes;
  • undercarriage pants (leggings, leggings, thermal underwear);
  • upper running trousers (windproof and waterproof);
  • socks or thermal socks;
  • wool socks;
  • T-shirt;
  • warm fleece jacket with a neck (thick wool sweater);
  • windproof and waterproof jacket (windbreaker/membrane/ski jacket);
  • down jacket (warm jacket);
  • gloves;
  • mittens or gloves are warm and waterproof (ski, Gore-Tex);
  • the hat is warm;
  • flip-flops/crocs/sandals;
  • winter shoes;

Personal items:

  • passport;
  • thermos flask (1l.);
  • a set of dishes (KLMN);
  • toilet paper;
  • individual first aid kit;
  • sunscreen and lipstick;
  • bathhouse;
  • sunglasses;

We recommend adding:

  • warm trousers for the evening (fleece or polartek);
  • flashlights (gaiters, shoe covers);
  • money;
  • matches;
  • medical policy;
  • dress;
  • powerbank;
  • chemical hot water bottles;
  • EVA winter fishing boots.

In a winter hike, you need to approach the selection of equipment especially carefully! We take it at a minimum, but very thoughtfully. We spend the night in heated houses, so foam is not needed, and a sleeping bag is enough for spring and autumn. Do not forget that you still have to carry some of the public equipment and food, so personal items should take up no more than 70% of the backpack. The average volume of the public module is a full large package of Five, it should easily fit into your backpack.
