Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival. Evening walk in Makhachkala
Meeting of guests at Makhachkala International Airport (from 13:00 to 18:00).
It is possible to arrange a paid transfer at other times.
Check-in at the hotel (Makhachkala).
Dinner at the restaurant — acquaintance with the group and local cuisine (included in the price of the tour — at about 20:00)
Evening walk around Makhachkala: Tarki Observation Deck, Central Juma Mosque, Central Square named after Lenin Avenue, Rasul Gamzatov Avenue, Rodopsky Boulevard.

Day 2 - Sarykum dune, Sulak canyon, Gunib
Breakfast at the hotel.
Check-out from the hotel.
Departure for the tour (approximately 08:00).
Visit to Sarykum dune (filming location of the film "White Sun of the Desert").
Boat trip along the Sulak Canyon / Chirkeysky reservoir (in case of cancellation due to weather or other conditions, we will arrange dinner).
Lunch at the restaurant at the Yantarnoye trout farm / Glavryba / Peach Orchard.
Observation deck in the village of Dubki (view of the Sulak Canyon).
Observation deck at the Chirkeysky reservoir.
Departure to Gunib.

Day 3 - Gamsutl, Gunib
Do you know how many secrets the abandoned Gamsutl holds?
We will go on an excursion to this village and you will see everything for yourself.
After that, we will stop at our ethnic cuisine restaurant, where the chef will prepare traditional Dagestani dishes for you.
You will remember the evening of this day for a long time, because we will visit the unique Saltinsky underground waterfall.
Breakfast at the hotel (from 7:00 to 8:00).
Excursion to Gamsutl ghost village (ascent, inspection and descent – approximately 4 hours).
Guniba observation deck.
Lunch in Gunib village.
Monument "White cranes".
The Museum of Local Lore in Gunib.
A walk along the Upper Gunib.

Day 4 - Derbent
The fourth day will be dedicated to the southern part of Dagestan.
We will visit the fortress of Naryn-Kala, Magaly and the Lun ekranoplan in Derbent.
Local craftsmen will introduce us to their craft and conduct a real carpet weaving workshop.
Breakfast at the hotel (the time of arrival and departure is regulated by the guide).
Departure to the Saltinsky waterfall.
Departure to Derbent (approximately 3 hours on the road), route: Gergebil — Tashkapur – Levashi – Sergokala – Derbent.
Lunch at the restaurant.
Check-in at the hotel/hotel/guest house/cottage.
Visit to the Naryn-Kala fortress (guide's story).
Visit to Magali (the old part of the city).
Visit to the central mosque of the city.
Free time, evening walk through the night Derbent.
