Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival. Sulak Canyon
Gathering of the group at the airport of Makhachkala. The recommended arrival time is before 12:00. Group transfers:
Uytash airport;
Makhachkala railway station.
Our journey will begin with exploring the Sulak Canyon, the hallmark of Dagestan.
A speedboat ride through the largest reservoir in the North Caucasus will provide you with vivid emotions for an additional fee starting from 700 rubles/person.
From the observation deck of the village of Dubki you will have a view of the most spectacular bends of the canyon.
Freshly caught trout fried over coals until crisp will be served for lunch (main course can be replaced on request).
We will visit one of the most interesting places in Dagestan — the Nokhyo cave complex for an additional fee of 500 rubles. The tunnels are connected by a suspension bridge over the Sulak River, on both sides of which there are observation decks.
Here you will have the opportunity to bungee jump for an additional fee of 7,000 rubles.

Day 2 - Derbent: Naryn-Kala citadel and ekranoplan. Huchni
Breakfast at the hotel. We will spend the second day of our tour in Derbent, the southernmost and most ancient city in Russia.
A visit to the Naryn-Kala citadel will reveal to us the ancient history of the fortress, which has protected the city from the invasion of nomads for hundreds of years.
Walk through the streets of the old city and visit the Juma Mosque, built in 733.
Next, we will have a feast in the ethnodome with dishes of South Dagestan cuisine: dolma, shah pilaf, chudu. Tea time.
The next stop will be at the Lun ekranoplane, an ingenious creation of Soviet engineering.
Well-preserved to the present day, preserved for several years in the coastal area of the city of Kaspiysk, it is waiting for the day when it will proudly spread its wings in the center of the Patriot Park under construction.
Next, transfer to Khuchni — the center of Tabasaran district and sightseeing. The fortress of seven brothers and one sister, which stands above the village as a symbol of the heroic past of the people.
And the small but picturesque Khanaga waterfall, at the foot of which locals like to relax.
Return to the hotel.

Day 3 - Free day
Breakfast at the hotel.
You will have the opportunity to join day trips for an additional fee to choose from.:

Gunib, Salt;

Kubachi;
Ahty.
Either spend the day at the hotel, visit the beach or choose any other activity.

Day 4 - A tour of Makhachkala. Departure
Breakfast at the hotel. Room release.
During the tour, you will see Makhachkala from a bird's-eye view, climbing to the observation deck on Mount Tarki.
Next, you will go down to the main mosque of the republic, Yusuf Bey Jami, where you will get to know the architecture and interior decoration more closely.
Next, we will move on to the pleasant part — traditional Caucasian hospitality. Lunch will be held in an institution in Makhachkala, where national cuisine will be served.
Complete your tour of the city with a walk along the Rhodope Boulevard, named after the Rhodope Mountain range in Bulgaria. There is a city embankment and a beach, a summer garden, Avar and Kumyk theaters.
The avenue is a concentration of monuments in honor of cultural and artistic figures of Dagestan. Briefly immerse yourself in the leisurely life of carefree townspeople, for whom the boulevard is a favorite place for walks.
Group transfer to the airport and railway station of Makhachkala. Departure time from Dagestan is after 17:00.

Dagestan is a wonderful place where you can relax by the sea with your children and learn a lot about the region. The people were warm and attentive. If I get the chance, I’d love to visit Dagestan again, there’s still so much left to see.

The tour was organized quickly and efficiently. I was picked up directly from the hotel and taken to the airport right on time. At first, I was a bit hesitant about making full prepayment, but in the end everything went smoothly and my concerns turned out to be unfounded.
