Departure for the excursion program "New Year's Derbent". Today we will get acquainted with the main Dagestan fortress — Naryn-Kala, with its mysteries, powerful walls, secret places and panoramic views of the city.

We will descend from the fortress to the streets of the Old Town. You will see the traditional Oriental underground baths (Maiden baths), a place for ablution before the wedding ceremony (external inspection).

We will visit the Derbent market. Let's take a walk along modern avenue along the fortress wall. Let's walk down the street of "Happy people" and make a wish.

We will end the trip with the most delicious food in Dagestan at an immersive meal in the ethnodome — a feast- immersion in ethnic interiors with stories about the traditions and gastronomy of Southern Dagestan. You will taste dovga, dolma, chuda, baklava, isito and shah pilaf!

On the way, we will stop for a photo against the background of the legendary "Caspian monster" — "Lun", the world's largest ekranoplane missile carrier.

Transfer to Khuchni— the center of Tabasaran district of Dagestan. Inspection of the Khuchninsk fortress of "seven brothers and one sister". Let's take a walk to the picturesque place of "little Switzerland" — Khuchninsky waterfall.

We will stay with a Caucasian family, where we will be treated to a dinner of national dishes, taught how to cook a miracle and will be shown a carpet weaving master class.

Today we are going to the very heart of mountainous Dagestan, to an altitude of 2000 meters above sea level — in Khunzy!

We will see one of the highest waterfalls not only in mountainous Dagestan, but also in the entire territory of the North Caucasus — the Tobot waterfall. The waterfall adorns the Khunzakh plateau.

Next to the village of Khunzakh stretches the Tsolotlinsky canyon, into which three rivers fall in the form of waterfalls. There is also an observation deck here — it offers a stunning view from its height!

We will visit the village of Mochokh, where we will see a picturesque mountain lake at an altitude of more than one and a half thousand meters above sea level. And every winter, the mountain lake on the outskirts of the village turns into an ice rink.

Let's have a delicious homemade lunch with beautiful views of the lake.

Relaxation on Lake Mochokh (winter cheesecake rides, ice skating, horseback riding, winter tea drinking from the samovar).

Let's get acquainted with the capital of the Republic of Dagestan, the southern outpost of Russia. Makhachkala is a young capital, the city is not even two hundred years old, but there is so much history stored here that it will last for many, many cities.

We will visit the observation deck in Tarki-Tau, which offers a beautiful view and the whole city appears in the palm of your hand. Let's go to the Juma Mosque.

We will have lunch in a cafe with dishes of national cuisine.

Let's take a look at the modern interactive museum "Russia — my History".

Let's walk along the embankment to the sound of the surf. We will visit the famous market in Makhachkala.

After that, we go to the airport and go home. The recommended departure time from Dagestan is after 18:00.
