An introduction to the history of the palace stud farm since the time of Ivan the Terrible.
The history of the place began in Nepashennaya Sloboda, where the Ilyinsky courtyard with a high bell tower now shines with whiteness and piety. The sovereign's stable was established in the era of Ivan the Terrible, and already in the 17th century the Gavrilovskaya stable was in the first place among the court stud farms! The symbol of the city is a horse rearing up, as if it had "jumped off" from the weather vane of one of the factory towers. A century later, 500 horses were kept at the factory, and the Vladimir heavy truck breed began to be bred.
"The Birthplace of the Vladimir Heavy Truck" is the name of the exhibition at the Museum of Russian national beverages. The unique museum is located in the building of the palace stud farm.
