You will learn how traditional Jomba tea is prepared and what Todo bichig, an Old Kalmyk vertical script, looks like. Learn how to knit a Kalmyk knot correctly and, if desired, you can be photographed in national costumes.
Elista is one of the largest centers of Buddhism in Russia. You will visit the Central Khurul of Kalmykia, the "Golden Abode of Shakyamuni Buddha."
After that, you will go to the steppe, to the border of two geomorphological zones: the Kumo-Manych depression and the Ergeninsky hills. Here you will visit the Lone Poplar natural monument with a healing spring.
You will hear the legend of this place and find out why it has become a Buddhist shrine.
After returning to the city, you will have dinner at a restaurant and relax at the hotel.
