Itinerary

Day 1 - Check-in. Transfer to the village of Mezmai. Remnants of the Guam Ridge
Meeting of the group at the Krasnodar-1 railway station.
Group meeting time: 10:00. Gathering place: Krasnodar railway station, Lenin monument.
Transfer to Mezmai, 4 hours.
Before reaching the village, the group examines the remnants of the Guam ridge and admires the panorama of the Lago Naki plateau, which seems to be possible to touch with your hand.
Accommodation in rooms.
Independent walk to the Guam Gorge.

Day 2 - A walk on the mudslide to the Mezmai stone
Breakfast at the hotel.

There is a panorama of the flat villages of Novoslabodskaya and Guamka.
Among the placers of stones, you can find real amethyst or rhinestone.
Exit for 5-6 hours.

Day 3 - A walk to the Eagle Shelf
Breakfast at the hotel.

A photo shoot on the edge of a rocky cliff and the snow-white peaks of Lago Naki.
It is not a difficult route for 4-5 hours.
Return to the hotel.
Free time.
It is possible to book an additional excursion to the Guamka hot springs.

Day 4 - A trip to the village of Temnoleskaya
Breakfast at the hotel.
A full-day hike.
The length of the route is 22 km.
We go along a shady path to the village of Temnoleskaya to the University and Chinarev waterfalls.
These beautiful watercourses are unique in their own way.
The university falls like an enfilade from a rocky ledge framed by green moss, ferns and ivy, and Chinarev blocks the entrance to a huge grotto.
If you go around the cascade, you can walk under the arches of the grotto.
On the way back, we will definitely stop at Temnoleskaya to buy mountain honey and apples from hardworking monks.
There is a small hermitage here.

Day 5 - Jeeping to the caves is Dry and Beautiful
Jeeping (extra charge)!
We go to the caves of Dry and Long.
We have planned a descent into an unequipped cave.
Return to the hotel.
Free time.

Day 6 - Mount Zauda
Breakfast.
The most difficult day of our trip.
We go to Mount Zauda to admire the panorama of the subalpine meadows of the Caucasian Reserve.
Maikop and Absheron are visible from the top.
The length of the route is 16 km, the climb is 900 m.

Day 7 - Hike to the Isichenko waterfall. Departure
Breakfast.
Room release.
A short hike to the Isichenko waterfall.
Bathing in the streams of the waterfall.
Farewell to Mezmai.
Departure to Krasnodar.
Arrival in the city is approximately at 18:00.

Lesnaya Polyana Mini-Hotel is located in the town of Mezmai, among picturesque mountain landscapes, near the Kurdzhips River. For guests with a private car, Parking is provided in a fenced and guarded area, and there is a shuttle service. Among the services: hiking, terrace, garden, tour service, horse riding, fishing, steam room, pets are allowed upon prior agreement.

Rooms in classic style and calm colors are available for booking. In the rooms you will find everything you need for relaxation: comfortable beds, storage space, a workplace, a personal shower room and a bathroom.

I’m incredibly grateful to the tour operator Big Country for organizing my hike to the Dzitaku Lakes. I really appreciated how quickly the managers responded to all my questions, and how clearly and professionally they prepared the full set of documents.
