The tour along the road to Peterhof introduces you to the picturesque landscape of the southern coast of the Gulf of Finland, the preserved estates of the St. Petersburg nobility and the history of the road specially built for a comfortable journey from St. Petersburg to Peterhof.
 
A tour of the Peterhof Fountain Park.

The lower park has an area of 102 hectares and stretches for more than 2 kilometers along the shore of the Gulf of Finland. It took incredible efforts to turn the deserted marshy coast of the Gulf of Finland into a luxurious park with fountains and cascades. Moreover, all the work was done manually – tons of fertile land were imported, ornamental trees and shrubs were planted, which were able to take root in the cold northern climate. Peterhof is the capital of fountains, a magical garden with a palace topped with a golden vase standing on the roof.  In terms of splendor and richness of decoration, Peterhof surpassed its prototype – the French Versailles and became the most striking palace ensemble in Europe.
 
Where to have lunch?

After the tour, you will have 1.5-2 hours of free time to walk around the park and have a snack on your own. There are fast food outlets on the territory of the park, as well as the Standart cafe, where the cost of a set lunch is 700-1500 rubles per person. If you want to save money, we recommend taking drinks and snacks with you and having a picnic on the shore of the Gulf of Finland.

Bus tour to Tsarskoye Selo "Suburban imperial residences".

The city is located 25 km from St. Petersburg - about an hour's drive away. You will drive along the old Tsarskoye Selo road and learn how you traveled in Russia before the advent of highways and railways. The magnificent and unique Catherine Palace brought special fame to Tsarskoye Selo. This is where you will visit.
 
Excursion to the Catherine Palace with the Amber Room.

Guests of Tsarskoye Selo are stunned by the fantastic luxury of the decoration of the Catherine Palace. One of the halls of Rastrelli's Golden Suite is the famous Amber Room, stolen by the occupiers during the Great Patriotic War and recreated by St. Petersburg restorers, whose work you can appreciate during a tour of the Catherine Palace.
 
A walk through the Catherine Park.

After the tour of the palace, you will have 1.5-2 hours of free time to walk around the magnificent park surrounding the palace on your own. Russian Russian Museum is decorated with exquisite pavilions, bizarrely shaped ponds and numerous monuments in honor of the victories of Russian weapons during the Russo-Turkish wars.
 
Where to have lunch?

There are no full-fledged food outlets in the park, only outside it. Therefore, we recommend taking drinks and snacks with you and having a picnic while walking around Catherine Park.

The Naval Cathedral in Kronstadt, consecrated in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, is the main naval temple of Russian sailors. It was built at the beginning of the XX century as a memorial temple to all sailors who died for the Fatherland. You will visit St. Nicholas Maritime Cathedral, where you will get acquainted with its unique interior decoration and marine relics.
 
Visit to the museum and historical park "Island of Forts".

This is the first and largest park in Russia dedicated to the Navy. There are several thematic sites on an area of 9 hectares. You can walk along the Alley of Heroes of the Russian Navy, which tells about more than three centuries of its history, explore the lighthouse of memory with 200 names of heroes-sailors, starting from the era of Peter I to the present day and look into the apple orchard with a pond.

Pavlovsk is the youngest in the necklace of suburban palace and park ensembles. Its history began in 1777, when a palace was built on the high bank of the Slavyanka River and a luxurious park was arranged, which became one of the best landscape parks in Europe. Unlike the official residences of Tsarskoye Selo and Peterhof, Pavlovsk was the private domain of Empress Maria Feodorovna and her heirs. This explains the special, intimate, cozy atmosphere of the magnificent Pavlovsk Palace.
