Let's get acquainted with ancient and modern Ryazan! You will see the famous "mushrooms with eyes" and a lacy wooden tower in the City Park, the only 19th—century palace in Ryazan - the house of philanthropist G. Ryumin (it now houses the Art Museum named after him. Zhalostina), the monument to Yevpatiy Kolovrat, the main square of the city, named after V.I. Lenin, and much more.

Nevertheless, the main decoration of the city is the magnificent ensemble of the Ryazan Kremlin. The Kremlin is located on a high bank at the confluence of the Lybed River with the Trubezh River, in ancient times it was protected by high walls and an earthen rampart, part of which can still be seen today.
The earthen rampart offers wonderful views of the city and the Zaoksky countryside.

The Assumption Cathedral was built in the third quarter of the 17th century by the greatest "national" architect Yakov Bukhvostov. This is a true masterpiece of the "Naryshkin Baroque", richly decorated with luxurious white stone "lace" carvings, which can be viewed for hours.

There are places in Ryazan that will always remain dear to us, because they are associated with names that make up the glory and pride of the Russian people.
You will visit one of these places — the Memorial Museum-estate of academician I.P. Pavlov, the great scientist, the first Russian Nobel laureate.
This cozy and "lived—in" museum is an authentic family home of the venerable academician, an example of a manor house built at the end of the 19th century. The home environment has been lovingly preserved here and the atmosphere of a loving family of the true Russian intelligentsia has been recreated.
The estate complex consists of two houses, a summer gazebo, outbuildings, a sauna, a well, a garden, a playground and a croquet lawn.
This corner attracts you with its harmony, the unchanging charm of eternal human values — all those things that are so difficult for a person to do without.
We will visit both houses, take a walk around the estate. At any time of the year, this wonderful corner of lost Russia delights visitors. In spring, the miracle of the awakening of nature, in summer — the divine aroma of filling apples, in autumn — the wonderful colors of the golden garden, in winter — the lace of snowy branches.
