Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Ryazan and Solotcha, entertainment complex "In a certain kingdom", "Fishing village"

    Meeting of tourists in Ryazan:

    • 10:05-10:15 Meeting of tourists at the Ryazan-I railway station in the railway station building (in the ticket office hall), a guide with a sign "Ryazan".;
    • 10:25-10:35 Meeting of tourists at the Ryazan-II railway station in the railway station building (on the site at the suburban ticket offices), a guide with a sign "Ryazan".

Today we are getting acquainted with ancient and modern Ryazan!

Bus sightseeing tour of the city with exits at the most interesting and significant monuments and symbols of the city.

You will see the famous "mushrooms with eyes" and a lacy wooden tower in the City Park, the only 19th—century palace in Ryazan - the house of philanthropist G. Ryumin (it now houses the Art Museum named after him.Zhalostina), the monument to Yevpatiy Kolovrat, the main square of the city named after V.I. Lenin and much more.

Walking tour of the Ryazan Arbat, Pochtovaya Street and Sobornaya Street.

You will see the building where the city's first cinema was located, the house where the world's most famous makeup artist Maximillian Faktorovich (Founder of Max Factor) opened his first and only store in Russia, and much more.

Guided tour of the Ryazan Kremlin.

The Kremlin is located on a high bank at the confluence of the Lybed River with the Trubezh River, in ancient times it was protected by high walls and an earthen rampart, part of which can still be seen today. The earthen rampart offers wonderful views of the city and the Zaoksky countryside.

External inspection of the magnificent Assumption Cathedral.

The Assumption Cathedral was built in the third quarter of the 17th century by the greatest "national" architect Yakov Bukhvostov. This is a true masterpiece of the "Naryshkin Baroque", richly decorated with luxurious white stone "lace" carvings, which can be viewed for hours.

If the cathedral is open, you will be able to visit it yourself after our tour.

    Lunch at a cafe.

Visit to the village of Solotcha

Transfer to the capital of the Meshchersk region. The wonderful resort village of Solotcha is just a 15-minute drive from Ryazan.

In the center of its impregnable fortress stands the ancient white stone monastery, the northern outpost of the Ryazan principality.

The Solotchinsky Convent of the Nativity of the Virgin was founded by Prince Oleg of Ryazan in 1390 on the high bank of the Solotchi River, near its confluence with the Oka. The monastery is one of the attractions of the village, as well as the pine forest that stretches around.

Visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan "In a certain kingdom".

We are waiting for a fabulous journey to the real Ryazan Faraway kingdom! You will visit the entertainment complex, in the middle of a protected pine forest, made in a fabulous style — with painted wooden chambers decorated with rich wood carvings, magic castles, towers and artfully carved wooden sculptures (one group of three—meter carved wooden heroes is already a real masterpiece!) and its own mini zoo.

    Free time (1 hour).

A photo stop at the Fishing Village Group of Companies.

On the way back, we'll take a look at a real Scandinavian Fishing village near Ryazan, where you can take amazing "Norwegian" photos.

The main attraction of the village is a real lighthouse, which you can climb and look around (for an additional fee).

Of course, it does not fulfill its original function, but it looks great as a decoration and colorful detail.

Departure to Ryazan. Accommodation in hotels.

We visited Ryazan on June 29–30, 2024, and really enjoyed the tour. Everything listed in the program was covered. Over the course of two days, we explored the most fascinating sights in Ryazan and its surroundings. Our guide, Natalia, shared insightful information about the city’s history and modern life. The tour organization, accommodation, meals, and transport services were all well handled. We're very satisfied with the trip!
