Day 1 - Ryazan City Tour
10:05-10:15 Meeting of tourists at the Ryazan-I railway station in the railway station building (in the ticket office hall), a guide with a sign "Ryazan".

Today we are getting acquainted with ancient and modern Ryazan!
Bus sightseeing tour of the city with exits at the most interesting and significant monuments and symbols of the city.
You will see the famous "mushrooms with eyes" and a lacy wooden tower in the City Park, the only 19th–century palace in Ryazan - the house of philanthropist G. Ryumin (it now houses the Art Museum named after him. Zhalostina), the monument to Yevpatiy Kolovrat, the main square of the city named after V. I. Lenin and much more.
Walking tour of the Ryazan Arbat, Pochtovaya Street and Sobornaya Street.
You will see the building where the city's first cinema was located, the house where the world's most famous makeup artist Maximillian Faktorovich (founder of Max Factor) opened his first and only store in Russia, and much more.
Nevertheless, the main decoration of the city is the magnificent ensemble of the Ryazan Kremlin.
The Kremlin is located on a high bank at the confluence of the Lybed River with the Trubezh River, in ancient times it was protected by high walls and an earthen rampart, part of which can still be seen today.
The earthen rampart offers wonderful views of the city and the Zaoksky countryside.
External inspection of the magnificent Assumption Cathedral. The Assumption Cathedral was built in the third quarter of the 17th century by the greatest "national" architect Yakov Bukhvostov.
This is a true masterpiece of the "Naryshkin Baroque" richly decorated with luxurious white stone "lace" carvings that can be viewed for hours. If the cathedral is open, you will be able to visit it yourself after our tour.

Day 2 - Konstantinovo, S. A. Yesenin Museum-Reserve. St. John the Theologian Monastery in the village of Poschupovo

Departure to Konstantinovo, the birthplace of the poet S. A. Yesenin, a travel excursion.
The Yesenins' estate is located in the center of the village of Konstantinovo, opposite the Church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God. In 1871, the poet's grandfather Nikita Osipovich Yesenin built a house here, where Sergei Alexandrovich Yesenin was born on September 21 (October 3 – new style), 1895.
Over time, the dilapidated grandfather's house was demolished, and a new, smaller one was built in its place in 1909. In 1965, the house museum of the famous Russian poet was opened in this "golden log hut".
Over time, a whole complex of memorial buildings appeared in Konstantinov – the State Museum-Reserve of S. A. Yesenin. But his heart still remains his parents' house, which was restored in 2000.
A guided tour of the Literary Museum introduces visitors to the creative biography of Sergei Yesenin, and provides an opportunity to witness the events of the turning point during which the poet lived.
The exhibition will feature photographs of S. A. Yesenin from different years, his lifetime and posthumous publications, and personal belongings of the poet.
Next to the church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God is the estate of the last Konstantinovskaya landowner Lidia Ivanovna Kashina.
Sergei Yesenin met the owner of the estate in the summer of 1916. At that time, he was already the author of his first poetry collection, Radunitsa. Visiting L. Kashina S. Yesenin visited her more than once and dedicated one of his poems to her, "The Green Hairstyle."
After the revolution, the landowner's country house was used for the needs of the village, and in October 1969 a literary exhibition was opened in it.
To mark the 100th anniversary of the poet's birth, in 1995, the building housed the museum of the poem "Anna Snegina", which embodied both the image of the "house with a mezzanine" and the image of its owner.

Route: visit six expositions — the Estate of S.A. Yesenin's parents, the Zemstvo School, the Estate of L.I. Kashina (the museum of the poem "Anna Snegina"), the Priest's House of I.Ya. Smirnov, the Literary Museum, the Carriage Yard (without the Savior-Klepikov Teacher's School and the School of Literacy).
In your free time, you can visit the church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God on your own, where the poet's parents were married and little Seryozha Yesenin was baptized.

Transfer to Poshchupovo village.
One cannot leave these blessed places without visiting the St. John the Theologian Monastery in the village of Poschupovo.
The monastery originated in the late 12th or early 13th century and was founded by Greek missionary monks who brought with them the miraculous icon of the Apostle John, painted in the 6th century in Byzantium by an orphan boy.
This image became the main shrine of the Theological monastery. The village of Konstantinovo is the monastery's compound, and little Seryozha Yesenin was brought here by his grandmother to serve.
Return to Ryazan.
The program ends (approximately at 17:00). Transfer to the train stations.
