Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Arrival. The road to the Putorana Plateau

    Meeting at the Alykel airport in Norilsk at 08:30.

    We get our luggage and go to the city. 

    Breakfast, transfer to the pier of the Norilsk river. 

    We load into the boat and go. We have to go 190 kilometers by boat. The road is very picturesque. 

    We pass a system of mountain rivers and tectonic lakes. As soon as we enter Lama Lake, we will see the very heart of a mountainous country called the Putorana Plateau. We will pass the 80-kilometer-long lake completely, from its end to the beginning (orographically). 

    The landing place is the eastern shore, it is there that the valleys of three large rivers connect: Hoisi, Bunisyak, Talaya. 

    We set up camp, cook dinner, explore the surroundings.

This is a completely autonomous hike, we will walk the entire route under a backpack.

It's important to know

Personal equipment you need for the tour

Clothing and shoes:

  • trekking boots;
  • boots are stray (eva);
  • leggings;
  • socks: 2-3 pairs of cotton, 1-2 pairs of wool or insulated;
  • thermal underwear top + bottom;
  • 2 pairs of trousers, trekking trousers (cotton, membrane, fleece, etc.);
  • windproof pants, raincoat;
  • T-shirts 2-3 pieces, a warm jacket or a sweater 2-3 pieces;
  • hooded jacket, anorak, down vest;
  • a warm down jacket with a hood;
  • gloves, insulated gloves or mittens;
  • several hats, a cap or a bandana, a balaclava.

Personal equipment:

  • backpack of 80-100 liters, a cape on a backpack;
  • sleeping bag (comfort temperature -10°C), mat, popper;
  • tent;
  • headlamp flashlight + spare set of batteries;
  • tableware: mug, spoon, bowl, knife, thermos 0.5-1L, matches;
  • sunglasses or ski mask;
  • personal first aid kit: remedies for colds and food poisoning, a wide patch, elastic bandage, medications prescribed by doctors;
  • sunscreen with a factor of 40 and above;
  • hygienic lipstick;
  • hygiene kit: toilet paper, toothbrush and paste, soap and towel.
