Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival. The road to the Putorana Plateau
Meeting at the Alykel airport in Norilsk at 08:30.
We get our luggage and go to the city.
Breakfast, transfer to the pier of the Norilsk river.
We load into the boat and go. We have to go 190 kilometers by boat. The road is very picturesque.
We pass a system of mountain rivers and tectonic lakes. As soon as we enter Lama Lake, we will see the very heart of a mountainous country called the Putorana Plateau. We will pass the 80-kilometer-long lake completely, from its end to the beginning (orographically).
The landing place is the eastern shore, it is there that the valleys of three large rivers connect: Hoisi, Bunisyak, Talaya.
We set up camp, cook dinner, explore the surroundings.

Day 2 - To the Hoixi Valley
We pack our backpacks and go on the route.
We are moving east.
After gaining 200 meters of altitude, we will find ourselves on an observation deck overlooking the lake, as well as the valleys of the Hoisi, Bunisyak and Talaya rivers, which are its main tributaries.
We go up to the Hoisi Valley.
There are several fords waiting for us along the way.
There is a good trail along the right bank, and there are also equipped parking spaces.
We set up a camp on the site of one of them.
Day 3 - Up the valley to the waterfalls
We continue moving up the valley.
Today we will see several small waterfalls with a height of 14, 17, 22 meters, as well as a huge number of cascading waterfalls that are located on the slopes of the mountains.
Deciduous woodlands are gradually replaced by harsh mountain tundra.
On the border of the forest, near the waterfall of 22 m, we set up a camp.
Day 4 - Ascent to the plateau
Ascent to the plateau.
We leave the forest area and move with a climb of 500 m, after which we find ourselves on the huge plateau of the Putorana plateau.

Along the way, we will find several mountain lakes with crystal clear water. We set up a camp on the shore of one of them.
Day 5 - Radial output
Radial output.
We will see one of the largest waterfalls in Russia — the Bride Waterfall.
We will also admire the valley of Lake Sobachye from a bird's-eye view. Today we are moving light, with only a snack and warm clothes.
Return to the camp, dinner, sleep.
Day 6 - Bunisyak River Valley
We continue the route.
Having gathered the camp, we go towards the valley of the Bunisyak River.
Before lunch, we will see a waterfall with a height of 67 m, go to Hikikal Canyon, set up camp and go light to Bunisyak Canyon.
We return to the camp in the evening.
Day 7 - Descent from the plateau
Descent from the plateau.
Today we will return to the forest area, spend the night at the foot of Mount Elden overlooking the river valley, a campfire awaits us again, a comfortable parking lot.
Day 8 - Down the river valley
We go down the river valley.
These places are very wild, so there is no trail here.
We move along the riverbed, wading through small tributaries.
After lunch, we go out on the trail.
Along the way, we will find several observation decks equipped with parking lots.
We set up camp on one of them.
Day 9 - Lama Lake
Lama Lake.
After leaving the valley, we head to the Khoisi riverbed, wade through the crossing.
The path from Hoisi is already familiar to us — we started our hike along this path.
We move to the shore of Lake Lama, set up camp.
Day 10 - Reserve day
A reserve day in case of bad weather.
Having this day in reserve, we can make an additional day during and after the hike.
There is a base on the shore of the Lama — you can go on an excursion, to the dining room, to the sauna (paid separately).
Day 11 - Reserve day
A reserve day in case of bad weather for the captain of the boat.
The territory of the plateau is located in the subarctic zone, so wind and storm are frequent phenomena here.
Day 12 - Return to Norilsk
Dumping into the city.
We say goodbye to the Plateau and load into the boat.
There will be several stops along the way.
Check-in at the hotel (apartments) in the evening.
Going to a restaurant and buying souvenirs (paid separately).
Day 13 - Completion of the tour
Transfer to the airport at 5:00.

Difficulty

Does not require special skills, but tourists must be physically fit: expeditions, long rafting, etc.

The difficulty of the route is 6 out of 10. We will walk about 15 km/day.

The tour includes accommodation in a tent (10 nights) and in the city of Norilsk (2 nights), room comfort. Breakfast is included (buffet).

This is a completely autonomous hike, we will walk the entire route under a backpack.

It's important to know

Clothing and shoes:

trekking boots;
boots are stray (eva);
leggings;
socks: 2-3 pairs of cotton, 1-2 pairs of wool or insulated;
thermal underwear top + bottom;
2 pairs of trousers, trekking trousers (cotton, membrane, fleece, etc.);
windproof pants, raincoat;
T-shirts 2-3 pieces, a warm jacket or a sweater 2-3 pieces;
hooded jacket, anorak, down vest;
a warm down jacket with a hood;
gloves, insulated gloves or mittens;
several hats, a cap or a bandana, a balaclava.

Personal equipment:

backpack of 80-100 liters, a cape on a backpack;
sleeping bag (comfort temperature -10°C), mat, popper;
tent;
headlamp flashlight + spare set of batteries;
tableware: mug, spoon, bowl, knife, thermos 0.5-1L, matches;
sunglasses or ski mask;
personal first aid kit: remedies for colds and food poisoning, a wide patch, elastic bandage, medications prescribed by doctors;
sunscreen with a factor of 40 and above;
hygienic lipstick;
hygiene kit: toilet paper, toothbrush and paste, soap and towel.
