Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Manpupuner Tour route

    Arrival at the helipad in Nyagan (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug).

    Waiting for dispatchers and crew team reports on loading.

    Loading equipment and groceries into the helicopter.

    Boarding.

    Takeoff.

    Flight to Manpupuner (Komi Republic). The flight duration is about 2 hours.

    Arrival and boarding at the helicopter pad of the Pechora-Ilych Nature Reserve on the Manpupuner Plateau.

    An official one-day permit is issued for each group.

    After the flight stops completely, the helicopter waits for the group at the landing site for 1.5 hours.

    Upon arrival of the group at the Dolvanov plateau, an excursion part is provided, including:

    • inspection of weathering stone pillars;
    • informational and educational lecture;
    • the active part of the movement to the pillars (about 1 km from the helipad);
    • photo shoots and videos.

    Movement through the territory for the purpose of inspecting stone idols is regulated and is carried out only along paths made of crushed stone specially equipped by the reserve.

    From here, the nearby mountain ranges of the Main Ural Range are clearly visible.

    The view of the mountain peak of the Pecherya-talakh-Chakhl ridge is very picturesque.

    The time spent on the Manpupuner plateau is limited — about 1.5 hours.

    At the end of the tour, return to the helicopter and relax in the gazebo at the hut of the rangers — workers of the biosphere reserve.

    On the plateau, a light snack is provided for the group, pre-prepared by the chef, including sandwiches, homemade snacks and taiga herbal tea.

    After a short rest, boarding a helicopter is organized, and we leave the landing site.

    The duration of the final part of the flight is about 2 hours.

    Arrival at the civilization after 15:00 hours.

    Unloading of the aircraft, warm parting words from our pilots and wishes to meet again.

    The end of the main part of the route.

    Further, upon request, the participants of the expedition can transfer to:

    1) Comfortable club hotel in Nyagan.

    2) the airport of Khanty-Mansiysk.

    3) the city of Yekaterinburg.

    Flight distance: Nyagan – Man-Pupu-Ner square – 325 km.
