07:00-09:00 Getting up, morning treatments, breakfast.
Preparation of snowmobiles (warming up the engine, laying lunch boxes and thermoses with tea in special trunks) and participants for departure.
We leave all the extra things at the base and go on our way "light".
9:00 We take a course to the west and go upstream to new interesting places.
The snowmobile part of the fourth, most difficult day of the expedition is completely devoted to movement and climbing the Man-Pupu-Ner plateau.
The path to the mountains is not particularly difficult, the Manpupuner plateau is often visited by other tourists traveling on snowmobiles, so the trail to the mountains can be paved and not covered with snow.
In case of heavy snowfall, the expedition participants will have a tedious and difficult job of punching a snowmobile trail (snowstorm), which requires significant physical effort and increased fuel consumption.
The group is moving westward to the sources of the Pechora River on the Pecheryatalyakhchakhl ridge, bordering a mountain range with an unpronounceable name.
With a satisfactory condition of the putik, we will go along the stream with an increase in altitude to the top of the ridge, on which the cordon of the rangers of the reserve is located.
The way up the slopes of the mountain is not easy and requires snowmobilers to perform certain physical activities associated with keeping the snowmobile on the traverse of the mountain peak.
After overcoming the ascent, tourists move along the treeless pass and the snow-covered kurumnik.
A visit permit is issued for each group visiting the territory of the Pechora-Ilych Biosphere Reserve.
Off-road traffic on the territory of the reserve in motorized vehicles is prohibited.
The option (method) of visiting the Man-Pupu-Ner plateau for each group is agreed individually.
14:00-16:00 Upon arrival of the group on the Dolvan plateau, an excursion part is provided, including an inspection of stone weathering pillars, an informational and educational lecture, an active part of the movement to the pillars (from the parking lot of snowmobiles — 400 m).
Photo shoots and video shooting.
From here, the nearby mountain peaks of the Main Ural Range are clearly visible.
The time spent on the Manpupuner plateau is limited – no more than 2 hours due to the short daylight hours.
The snowmobilers will have to return to the base.
Afternoon: the group moves in the opposite direction through the Main Ural Ridge along a broken path, along a stream and further along the Manya River to the Arbynya gold prospectors base.
In case of deviation from the traffic schedule (the onset of darkness), as well as at the general request of the snowmobilers, the group has the opportunity to stop for a night rest in a mountain module located 11 km from the plateau.
19:00-20:00 We arrive at the base, change into dry clothes and go to the kitchen-dining room.
Hot tea on arrival and exchange of impressions.
21:00 Hearty dinner.
Bathhouse on birch firewood (at the request of the team, paid separately).
Overnight in a warm guest house.
Daily snowmobile run: about 100 km.
