The museum's exposition presents all stages of the development of Tula samovar production from the end of the XVIII century to the present day, as well as the history of the samovar as an original example of Russian decorative and applied art.

Visiting the interactive exhibition – "My address is always Tula" — this is how the writer L. N. Tolstoy indicated his address in some letters for a reason. 

Is it really possible to imagine the writer's life in isolation from the provincial town of Tula, which is nearby to his Yasnopolyanskaya estate?! After all, it was in Tula that Tolstoy went to the Noble Assembly and the Zemstvo Council, the Provincial Government and the District Court. His sons studied at the Tula men's gymnasium and Tolstoy was an honorary trustee at the Tula real school.

A literary quiz.

The game was restored by the staff of the Yasnaya Polyana Estate Museum based on the memoirs of contemporaries, family members and friends of Leo Nikolaevich Tolstoy. Lotto is a set of task cards with excerpts from poems by various poets. The beginning of the verse passage is written on split cards with the corresponding numbers. The presenter hands out cards to the players, and then randomly takes out split cards, reads out excerpts of poems. Players must find a continuation, name the author of the poetic lines, the card number and finish reading the verse passage.

Guests of the museum will learn about how Tula became an industrial center; how gingerbread, weapons, samovar and industry are connected; what is the Tula cultural DNA and why Tula is the workshop of Russia.

The narrators of the tour are Masha, a modern resident of Tula, and her assistant, the Bullfinch neural network. They will tell the tour participants about the great inventions of Tula craftsmen, the ideas of young innovators and their projects.

Free time in the urban space "Octave". 

Here you can participate in games, visit an exhibition, listen to a lecture, and have a cup of coffee. Many large-scale events are planned for the New Year holidays, for which you can register in advance on the Octave cluster website.
