Day 1 - Departure from St. Petersburg. Lake Valdai and the Iversky Monastery
07:30 Departure from St. Petersburg from Moskovskaya metro station, Demonstration passage (the street behind the monument to V. I. Lenin).
Everyday stops. Travel information.
Drive to Lake Valdai (315 km).
Stop at the island of Lake Valdai.
Valdai Iversky Svyatoozersky Bogoroditsky Monastery, located on a beautiful island in the middle of Lake Valdai.
The monastery was founded in the middle of the 17th century in honor of the Iveron Icon of the Mother of God. It is a unique architectural monument, which has been beautifully restored and decorated.
A walk through the territory of the existing monastery with a tour of the interiors of the main temple.
Free time.
Transfer to Lake Seliger (290 km).
Accommodation at the recreation center "Sokol".

Day 2 - Nikola-rozhok Ancient Settlement Walking Tour

Day 3 - Bus tour with a visit to the monastery of the Nile deserts

Bus tour with a visit to the monastery of the Nile deserts (16th century). The Nile Desert is located on Stolobny Island. The history of this place is connected with the life and exploits of the monk (hermit) Nile, who lived on this island for 27 years.
The relics of St. Peter. The Nile, as well as a fragment of the relics of St. Peter the Great. St. Spyridon of Trimifunt, miraculous icons are considered the main values of the monastery. After the tour, free time (more than an hour) – you can climb the bell tower, walk around the island, relax, visit the museum of the Nile Desert, the monastery pharmacy, etc.

Day 4 - Bus tour of Ostashkov
Breakfast buffet.
Bus tour of Ostashkov, which is more than 600 years old. A peculiar feature of Ostashkov is the feeling that he is standing right on the water. The city has residential wooden huts from the 19th century, stone temples and manors, as well as houses with lions and Atlanteans. The typical urban layout of the Catherine the Great era has been preserved here.
Bogorodichny Monastery in Ostashkov is a modest, beautiful in its simplicity, strict monastery, one of the oldest and most amazing architectural monuments, the spiritual centers of the Upper Volga region.
Founded in 1716, the monastery was dedicated to the main highly revered local shrine, the Smolensk Icon of Our Lady of Odigitria, the protector and patroness of Ostashkov. Those who wish can climb the bell tower.
An excursion to the Museum of Local Lore, where you will learn about the crafts and crafts of the Ostash, about the rich cultural and historical traditions of the region. Free time in the town square.

Sightseeing tour of Torzhok. Torzhok is one of the oldest cities in Russia. Numerous architectural monuments of the XVII-XIX centuries have been preserved in the city, among them: the wooden church of the Ascension of the XVII century, the Traveling Palace, built under Catherine the Great.
As well as the Borisoglebsky Monastery complex, the Transfiguration Cathedral, architectural masterpieces of the XVIII century by N. A. Lviv with the only monument to the great architect in Russia, numerous residential buildings in the classical style.
2:30 p.m. Lunch (with fireman's cutlets) in a cafe.
15:30 Excursion to the Museum of Gold Embroidery.
Torzhok is the only Russian city that has managed to preserve this ancient art to the present day. The museum's exhibits reflect the history and current state of Torzhok gold embroidery and other types of folk hand and machine embroidery.
Departure to St. Petersburg. Arrival around 22:00.
