Day 1 - Sightseeing tour of Tver. Tver brewery "Afanasy"

Tver is an ancient city on the Volga River. The city center is decorated with magnificent historical buildings in the classical style. Tver is interesting for its amazing combination of ancient history and modern modern trends.

The Transfiguration Cathedral is the main shrine of the Tver land. The first temple in Russia, built after the Mongol-Tatar invasion.
The embankment of Stepan Razin. A beautiful embankment, built on the principle of a single facade, following the example of St. Petersburg.
The famous Tver "Three–Light" is the front part of the city, preserved since the XVIII century, unique in its layout: it is similar to the Roman, Versailles and St. Petersburg.
The Imperial Travel Palace (external inspection) is an architectural monument of the XVIII century. The palace was intended for the recreation of members of the imperial family on the way from St. Petersburg to Moscow.

Day 2 - Torzhok. Gastronomic tour at the Italian cheese farm "La fattoria Little Italy"

Staritsa is a small and inconspicuous town on the Volga River, 65 kilometers from Tver, which holds a great history and many secrets.

Ancient churches and cathedrals dating from the 16th and 19th centuries have been preserved on its territory, which remember how it was once a favorite of Ivan the Terrible.
Located southwest of Tver, this corner of the Volga Region impresses with the direct charm and features of the Orthodox architecture of Ancient Russia.

The glorious city of Rzhev, the first along the Volga River, was founded in the 11th century.
The city played a special role during the Great Patriotic War, today it bears the honorary title of "City of Military Glory".
