Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Bashkir State Reserve, tour of the village of Kaga

    10:00 Meeting of the group in Ufa. The central entrance of the UFA Department Store (October Avenue, 31).

    Bus trip from the flat part of Bashkiria through the highlands to the mountainous and forested areas of the Southern Urals to the ancient Russian village of Kaga (300 km).

    Along the way, landscapes change from the Ural steppes to the majestic Ural mountains. Part of the route passes through the territory of the South Ural State Nature Reserve.

    In good weather, you can enjoy a view of the highest peak of the Southern Urals – Bolshoy Yaman-Tau.

    Lunch. 

    Accommodation at the campsite. 

    Car transfer to the Bashkir State Reserve (30 km) – the very first reserve formed in the Southern Urals. 

    The reserve lies in the part of the Urals where its main ranges Kraka and Ural Tau lose their meridional direction and break up into a network of very complexly constructed hills. 

    The acquaintance with the museum and excursion complex of the reserve will begin with the history and peculiarities of the nature of the reserve and the Southern Urals, and will end with a walk along the ecotrope to the observation tower. 

    You can watch them at the deer enclosure, learn interesting facts about their horns and take memorable photos. 

    Return to the base (30 km).

    Supper. 

    Acquaintance with the history of the area and inspection of the architectural monument – St. Nicholas Church. 

    Excursion "The history of the village of Kaga and the Ural ironworks".

    Car travel per day is 360 km.

    The price includes: meals – lunch, dinner; excursions – in the village of Kaga, in the Bashkir State Reserve.

Tengri Campsite 1 night

Tengri camp site: a tourist complex in which buildings built at the end of the 19th century (the estate of the mining hospital) and modern domed houses harmoniously coexist. The complex is located at an altitude of 800 m above sea level, offering a panorama of rocks and mountain ranges, pine forests, and two mountain rivers merging into a single stream.

On the territory there is a detached kitchen–dining building, a camp site administrator's house, baths, guest houses for guests, a parking place for vehicles.

The main direction of the Tengri tourist base is active recreation: in summer – horseback riding, rafting, hiking in the picturesque surroundings, in winter – snowmobiling, skiing, sledding, tubing.

Each domed house has an area of 60 m2, 3 rooms (2-3 beds) and 2 shared bathrooms. Room facilities: single/double beds with orthopedic mattresses, cabinets /shelves for storage, mirror. Heating/water supply/sewerage – centralized. There is Wi-Fi.

Personal equipment you need for the tour

What to take with you: backpack/bag, sneakers (sneakers), tracksuit, sweater, jacket (raincoat), headdress (warm cap and panama hat), bathing suit (baths are different), woolen and cotton socks; for mountain walks - dirt-resistant and waterproof clothing, sports shoes for walking in the forest and on mountain trails (sneakers or closed sandals that hold well on the foot

Do not forget: Personal hygiene items (washbasin, comb, camping towel, toilet paper), personal first aid kit, flashlight, photo/video equipment (in a waterproof case), chargers.

Pay attention to the choice of shoes: warm and allowing you to move along winter forest trails (excursions to natural sites).
