At midnight, along the route of the pioneers, you will go out to storm the top of Vostochnaya. By following this path, you will learn the basics of mountaineering, feel a love for the mountains, and reboot your mind.

Technically uncomplicated climbing, suitable even for beginners. The guides are focused on training and assistance, follow the recommendations for preparation and be sure that everything will go well.

The tour differs in that it is necessary to travel long distances independently, there is no cable car and other equipment. On the other side, you will see the mountain and its surroundings untouched by human activity.

For climbing, we issue certificates and license plates issued by the FAR.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Meeting. Emmanuel's Clearing
Meeting of participants from 8:00 to 12:00 in Mineralnye Vody at the organizer's office on the forecourt. Equipment delivery.
Off-road vehicle transfer to Emmanuel Glade 2600 m.
Installation of tents, training in the use of burners for cooking for those who have chosen the "standard" tariff.
After organizing your daily routine, you can take a walk, get water from the narzan springs, and make friends with ground squirrels. Both peaks of Elbrus are clearly visible from the clearing.
After dinner, a briefing, meeting with the group.

Day 2 - Traverse of the peaks of Sirh and Corona
The beginning of acclimatization, training in the technique of movement on the slopes and breathing techniques.
Trekking ascent to the top of Sirh 3100 meters, then moving along the ridge we climb to the top of the Crown.
The route of climbing Mount Elbrus is clearly visible. The ascent takes place first along a dirt road, then along a grassy and crumbly slope.
The ascent is about 3 hours, the descent is 1-1.5 hours.
We are registering the group with the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
In the evening, a briefing, an analysis of the past day and plans for tomorrow.

Day 3 - Dropping off equipment at the assault camp
On this day, equipment will be thrown into the assault camp at 3750, this is necessary for smooth acclimatization, as well as to bring up some of the equipment and personal warm clothes necessary for altitude.
The trail first goes through the canyon of the river, then we go out to the German airfield and the Moon Glade.
We descend through the amazing valley of Stone Mushrooms, a place of fantastic energy.
The first ascent to 3750 takes about 5 hours, and the descent takes 2-3 hours.

Day 4 - Climb to the assault camp at 3,750 m
After breakfast, we pack tents and personal belongings and move the camp to an altitude of 3750 meters in order to spend the night and further acclimatize.
Now we have to spend the night among rocks and snow, near a glacier. In front of us is the huge icy slope of Mount Elbrus.
In the evening, we adjust the crampons to the boots, figure out how to put on a safety system, and learn how to tie basic climbing knots.
The second ascent to the assault camp takes about 4 hours.

Day 5 - Acclimatization access to Lenz rocks
We will climb the glacier in bundles to the Lenz rocks at an altitude of 4600-4800 m.
We learn how to walk in cats on an ice-snow slope, the uniform movement of a group in a bundle, and self-restraint using an ice axe.
Ascent 5-6 hours, descent up to 3 hours.
Stunning views of the glaciers of Elbrus lying below, foothills and green meadows all the way to Kislovodsk — we come to the mountains for such moments!
After dinner, we start planning the assault on the summit, look at the weather forecast, and pre-determine the day and time of the exit.

Day 6 - Rest day
A day of rest before the summit assault. We're eating up, getting enough sleep, as a night assault on the summit awaits us.
If desired, additional classes on the glacier in climbing techniques are possible near the camp, or a short walk around the camp.
We fill thermoses with hot tea, collect backpacks and climbing equipment.
We go to bed early, get up 2 hours before the scheduled exit time.

Day 7 - Climbing mount Elbrus Vostochnaya 5621 m
The summit will be stormed at 20:00-00:00, depending on the condition of the participants and the current weather forecast.
The movement schedule is standard, developed over all previous days: we walk for 45-50 minutes, rest for 10-15 minutes.
The lights of the CMS cities are burning far to the north, and together we will see the sun rise above the horizon and overcome the fatigue and insecurity of standing on the edge of the crater of Europe's tallest volcano.
Descent and overnight at the assault camp.
The ascent time is 8-10 hours, the descent is 3-4 hours.
Day 8 - Departure to Mineralnye Vody
We have breakfast, pack up the camp and go down to Emmanuel's clearing.
Transfer to Mineralnye Vody.
We rent rental equipment at the office. Participants receive certificates and numbered headlight badges for climbing Mount Elbrus.
Return tickets can be purchased in advance, and you will be in Mineralnye Vody until 17:00 on the day of the tour's completion.

Day 9 - Reserve day
A reserve day is necessary in order for the ascent to take place in good weather.
Guides receive fairly accurate forecasts on specialized weather sites and from the staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
In the case of using a reserve day for climbing, we use the previous day for recovery and rest, sleep, eat.

Technically, the complexity of the route is about the same as on the southern slope, in some ways it is even simpler. There are no railing ropes or places that pose a danger if you fall.

There are no cable cars or snowmobiles on the northern slope of Elbrus, which makes climbing this route closer to real mountaineering.

From the first day of the tour, our guides will teach you how to walk first on trails, then on snow and ice, tell you and show you how to breathe properly, and what to pay attention to when climbing.

Before storming the summit, we conduct group interaction training when moving in bundles, teach you how to use an ice axe and trekking poles. Practicing the correct walking technique in cats.

It's important to know

Documents: passport and compulsory medical insurance policy.

Camping equipment:

A backpack of 65-80 liters with a rigid back and the ability to attach a mat and an ice axe outside. Rain cover for a backpack (rent for 9 days – 300 rubles/day). An assault backpack should have an ice axe mount, the presence of a frame is not essential.;
You can't do without a sleeping bag in the shelter. The comfort temperature is -5.... -10 C, preferably with synthetic filler (rent for 5 days is 300 rubles/day.);
Trekking poles (rent for 9 days – 150 rub/day);
Tourist mat (karemat, foam) (rent for 5 days – 40 RUB/day). The mat will not be superfluous, it can be used for camping, etc.;

Climbing clothes day 5-9

A lightweight down jacket with a hood, should be worn under a windproof jacket (rent for 4-9 days – 300 rubles/day);
A high–rise puffer jacket is required in spring and autumn above 5,000 meters (rent for 4-5 days is 400 rubles/day);
Insulated climbing boots (rent of plastic double boots for 4-5 days – 400-600 rubles / day); Climbing shoes should be single-layer with overshoes, or double-layer, sneakers will not fit in any way.
Overshoes are insulated, they allow you to use trekking boots on climbing (rent for 4-5 days – 150 rubles/day);
Gaiters for feet from snow and mud getting into shoes (rent for 4-5 days – 100 rubles/day);
Mask, buff or balaclava to protect your face from the wind;
Warm, windproof gloves, preferably mittens (rent 4-5 days – 150 rubles/day);

Other

A headlamp with 1 battery pack (rent for 4-9 days – 100 rubles/day);
Hygiene products: soap, shampoo probe, toothpaste and brush, toilet paper, towel (not large),wet wipes;
