Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival. Departure to the Elbrus region
Self-service transfer to Pyatigorsk.
Meeting at the office from 09:00 to 11:00, Pyatigorsk, Intourist Hotel.
Checking the necessary equipment, if something is missing, you can rent it for an additional fee.
Lunch for an additional fee.
Briefing for all members of the group.
Transfer to the Elbrus region.
Accommodation in a hostel.
A short walk around the neighborhood together. Free time.

Day 2 - Acclimatization exit to Cheget
Breakfast.
The first acclimatization is climbing Cheget Mountain.
Before leaving, everyone will receive a lunch box, a snack will be on the mountain, overlooking Elbrus.
The ascent will take several hours on foot.
From the top there is a beautiful view of Elbrus, Donguzorun and Baksan gorge.
We go back down on the cable car to save our legs and save energy. Return to the hostel.
Free time.
Supper.
Day 3 - Trekking to the Maiden Braids waterfall
Breakfast.
Another acclimatization.
We will go up to the Devichy Kosy waterfall, and then higher, to the Observatory.
The instructor will tell you how to walk and breathe properly in the mountains.
You will only carry a small backpack with a thermos, snack and personal belongings.
We will return to the hostel in the evening.
Supper.
Day 4 - Check-in at the mountain Shelter
Breakfast.
Room release.
Transfer to the Azau clearing.
Cable car ascent to Gara Bashi station (3847 m above sea level).
Lunch is dry. rations.
Accommodation in a mountain shelter.
A walk up the snowy slope. A lesson on the technique of walking in cats.
Dinner at the Shelter.
Day 5 - Acclimatization exit up to a height of 5000 m
Breakfast.
Acclimatization exit up to a height of 5000 m.

Day 6 - Day of rest

Conducting snow and ice classes, walking, sleeping.

Day 7 - Climbing Elbrus
Climbing.
We wake up at midnight for 1.5 hours to pack and eat*.
We put on all the equipment (cats, harnesses, headlamps) and go out to climb.
We walk very slowly so as not to lose our breath and save energy. The ascent usually takes 8-10 hours, the descent takes another 3-4 hours. Regardless of the result, from 1 p.m. onwards, the movement of all group members is carried out only downwards.
After returning to the Shelter, rest.
Lunch, dinner.
Overnight at the shelter.
If the previous day did not give you good weather, the guide will decide to use a reserve day.
*For an additional fee, it is possible to climb on a snowmobile (snow-sealing machine with a body for transportation) to a height of up to 5000 meters. In this case, the output is shifted 2-3 hours later. From 10,000 rubles per person.
Day 8 - Descent to the Azau clearing. Return to Pyatigorsk
Breakfast.

09:00-10:00 Descent by cable car to the Azau meadow.
From 11:00-12:00 group transfer to Pyatigorsk.
The tour is over. If the reserve days are not used, the tour will end 1 or 2 days earlier.

The tour provides accommodation for 3 nights in a hostel in Terskol – (4-6 people each, facilities on the floor) and 4-6 nights in a mountain shelter (6-8 people each).

The possible accommodation options are listed below. It can be replaced with similar ones.

The Heart of Elbrus Shelter is located at an altitude of 3,800 meters above sea level, just below the Gara-Bashi station. The interior of the shelter is designed in a modern style. On the ground floor there is a modern cafe and a small bar.

Equipment can be left in the spacious, spacious lobby. The second floor is a recreation area with 96 beds. Each room is equipped with four bunk beds.

Two modern heating boilers are used to maintain a warm microclimate.
