Day 1 - Walk through the city center, Ipatievsky Monastery, Cheese Museum
The most optimal, easiest and fastest way to get to Kostroma is the new Lastochka comfort class train, which runs from Moscow (Yaroslavsky Railway Station) for 4 hours, arriving in Kostroma at Kostroma Novaya station at 10:37 in the morning.

Day 2 - Volgorechenskoye fishery, Sidorovskoye village, a year-round strawberry farm
After a hearty breakfast, we will leave at 09:00 and return to Kostroma by 17:45, so if you have an evening "Swallow", take your things from the hotel with you.
Excursion to the Volgorechensk fishery.
The Volgorechensk fisheries was established in 1975 in the warm waters of the Kostroma GRES.
Today, the farm has fry ponds, a swimming pool area with frost-free running water in winter, ultrasound workshops that allow year-round conditions for active fish growth and, of course, a large cage area that allows fish to feed in the natural conditions of the Volga River.
On the tour you will see huge pools, they will tell you about the incubation process and the stages of fish growth.
You will see a fry complex and a demonstration pool, where adult fish are represented – carp, sturgeon, sterlet, beluga, catfish, ornamental fish.
The program also includes a tasting of fish delicacies.
Lunch at a cafe.
If desired, after the excursion to the fish farm, we will stop in the village of Sidorovskoye, where the jewelry art of Kostroma province originated, and visit the local silverware production.
After that, we will go on an excursion to the family farm for year-round strawberry cultivation. Here, every berry is grown with love in the countryside, and sweets are prepared with soul according to homemade recipes.
