Day 1 - Meeting. Ipatievsky Monastery, Kostroma sightseeing tour
Meeting at Kostroma railway station.
Transfer to the first location of our trip – Ipatievsky Monastery, where you will be told the story of the monastery's creation and why it is called the cradle of the House of Romanov.
After the tour, we will have lunch at a restaurant in Kostroma, where you can taste the famous Kostroma green cabbage soup.
Next, on a sightseeing tour of the city center, we will find out why Kostroma has a radial-semicircular layout.
We will take beautiful photos against the background of the fire tower, the estate of S.S. Borshchov, take a walk around Susaninsky Square and listen to the story of Ivan Susanin's feat, as well as stroll through the Shopping Malls, where you can buy souvenirs and taste Kostroma chebureks, which have not changed their recipe for more than 40 years.
We will take a short walk along the Volga River embankment, and then we will reach the Ostrovsky gazebo and move towards the Kostroma Kremlin, where the Fedorovskaya Icon of the Mother of God is currently located.
For an additional fee, you can climb the Kremlin bell tower.
Next, we will go on an excursion to the house of the mayor G.N. Botnikov.

Day 2 - Susaninsky district, horse breeding tour

Russian Russian artists were inspired by the Susaninsky district, and Russian peasants performed heroic deeds to protect Russia.
We will visit the Museum of Local Lore in the village. Susanino, where they will tell you how our ancestors lived, what secrets this region kept.
The museum is not limited to a regular guided tour. It is a space for dialogue, a place where you can ask questions and discuss how modernity intersects with history.
Let's see where A. K. Savrasov painted full-scale sketches for the future canvas during his trip to Kostroma province, when he was in the village of Molvitino.
The prototype of the temple depicted in the painting is the Resurrection Church, built at the end of the 17th century, which has survived to the present day, and the place where the artist worked is confirmed by an inscription made by the master in the lower left corner of the canvas: 1871 S. Molvitino. A. Savrasov.
We will visit the village of Domnino, permeated with the history of M.F. Romanov's maternal ancestors, and reach the place where hero Ivan Susanin accomplished his feat.
Lunch at a cafe.
After lunch, we will go to the breeding stud farm, which is engaged in breeding and selling breeding horses.
You will listen to the history of the formation of the stud farm, plunge into the modern life of horses and be able to ride with an experienced instructor.
Return to Kostroma by 19:00.
Transfer to the railway station.
