On this trip, we will go fishing for captured Siberian grayling, the largest in the world, and also try our hand at fighting the king of mountain rivers — the red-tailed taimen, rafting on boats and catamarans along the Shaman river. Day 1 - Arrival at the base camp, Tykotlov River
The arrival of the team in the Circumpolar Urals in the area of the ridges of the Narodo-Itinsky ridge.
Landing on the pebble-dirt spit of the bank of the Tykotlov River.
Mobile unloading of the board (carried out by absolutely all participants of the expedition in no more than 3 minutes).
After the full unloading of the board, the helicopter leaves the landing site.
The landing of the group is carried out on the territory of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug.
Champagne for the participants of the expedition on the occasion of their arrival at the remote, mountainous, absolutely unvisited Tykotlovu River.
The location of the team, the arrangement of a stationary base camp, the collective installation of tents, personal tents, technological kitchen equipment, the installation of technical and sanitary tents.
Landing place: Confluence of the Malaya Tykotlova and Bolshaya Tykotlova rivers (upper course of the Tykotlova River).
Upon arrival of the expedition, the chef is busy setting up and equipping the field kitchen, a reinforced closed tent is installed for the stationary camp, inside which the chef sets up a dining table, prepares a hot lunch according to the selected menu.
A hot lunch in a stationary camp is served on a set dining table by 14:00.
Cooking by a representative of the club's catering department is carried out on a campfire, or with the help of mobile gas burners with a gas reserve in safe gas cylinders made of composite materials.
The time of serving breakfast, lunch and dinner and the general gathering of the team to the set table should coincide as much as possible with the suggested time on the menu: 9:00 — breakfast, 14:00 — lunch, 21:00 — dinner.
On the days of radial exits and taiga trips, the time of serving dishes can be changed by the general decision of all participants of the expedition.
All participants of the expedition, without exception, must comply with the rule of general gathering at the table.
If you are late to the feast for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the expedition participants will have to be content with only cold snacks and sandwiches.

Day 2 - Investigation of the presence of energy anomalies

The spring on the Parus plateau (the slope of the left bank of the Parus Shore) has a large number of tracks of various animals. The dogs of the expedition members caught a mole. A completely atypical rodent for these latitudes;

From the side of the plateau near the top of the Sail (near a spring with high—energy water), a mountain arc is visible (presumably part of the astrobleme - the impact crater of the site of the fall of an ancient meteorite), the end of which rests at the confluence of the Bolshaya Tykotlovy and Malaya Tykotlovy rivers.
The chef with a camp kitchen and tents is permanently located on the bank of a mountain river and is in standby mode for the main group.
Those who want to relax, fish for large grayling and enjoy the beauty of the nature of the mountainous Circumpolar Urals without long radial trips — stay at the camp location all day.

The chef pre-packs and prepares a personal lunch packed in lunch boxes for each of the expedition participants.
After rest and lunch, the team starts moving towards the base camp.
The return route to the base camp is planned based on the existing weather conditions and the general well-being of the expedition participants.
With clear weather in the mountains and conditions of sufficient visibility, the participants of the expedition, led by the leader, can climb the nearest mountain peaks for the purpose of photo shoots and an overview of the panorama opening from the main Ural ridge.
It is possible to visit the "plateau of power", located 5 km from the group's drop-off point.
A picturesque mountain lake is located 15 kilometers from the landing site (the confluence of the Bolshaya Tykotlova and Malaya Tykotlova rivers) upstream of the Bolshaya Tykotlova River in the mountains.
Also, for research, you can choose a route with radial exits up along small rivers — tributaries of the Tykotlovy Ambar-Shor and Petravozh, as well as from mountainous areas of the astrobleme — the site of the fall of an ancient meteorite.
Return to the base stationary camp.

Day 3 - Catamaran rafting and grayling fishing

On a section of 16 kilometers between the landing site and the confluence of the Tykotlovy River with the Grube-Yu River, small rivers-streams flow into Tykotlovu: the Petravozh River, the Ambar Shor River and the Ambar Vozh River.
The distance from the arrow of the B. Tykotlov and M. Tykotlov rivers to the confluence with the Grube-Yu River is 16 kilometers.
The distance of the Tykotlovy site from the confluence of the Grube-Yu River to the place where Tykotlovy adjoins the Living and Dead lakes is 8 km.
Lovers of geology and travelers who know a little about natural minerals and geology will appreciate this area of the ridges of the Circumpolar Urals, having the opportunity to collect a collection of various gem minerals here.

For an intermediate camp on the banks of the Tykotlovy River, a suitable parking place was chosen (a wide windswept pebble spit of the river), located on a bend adjacent to two lakes: the Living and the Dead.

For the purposes of photo shoots and an overview of the area, a quiet ascent is provided-climbing a nearby trapezoidal observation cliff.
The daytime is devoted to cryptozoological observations, the purpose of which is to search for traces of the presence of the bigfoot family living on the Tykotlov River.
To travel over rough terrain, taiga and hilly areas, as well as near lakes of the Living and Dead, expedition participants need rubber boots above the waist, as well as a hiking raincoat in case of bad weather — rain or thunderstorms.
Travelers should also be equipped with GPS navigators and flares in case they encounter wild animals (bear, moose, lynx).
The chef with a camp kitchen and mobile tents remains at the base camp of the expedition for the duration of the entire expedition period.
Those who want to relax, fish for trophy grayling and enjoy nature and the foothills of the Circumpolar Urals without radial daytime exits — stay at the camp location during the day, practice catching Siberian grayling, which actively takes baubles and flies.
Spinners have the opportunity to learn fly fishing, and the most active participants of the expedition will be able to go downstreamTykotlov in order to search for the legendary kingfish - the circumpolar Ural taimen.
In company with the head of the group, an expert on cryptozoology and anomalous phenomena, a member of the Russian Geographical SocietyVladimir Anishchenko, the participants of the trip adhere to the track, which is equipped with the head's GPS navigator.
The guide's commands and orders are unreasonable and extremely irrefutable.
On the way to the archaeological finds, travelers will have to make cryptozoological observations.
From the stories of local residents, geologists, as well as from the accidental finds of the participants of our expeditions (in 1999 — 2002) traces and signs were found that allow us to assume with a high degree of certainty that the area of the Tykotlov River and its tributary, the Grubeya River, is the place of visit and residence of the "bigfoot".
The locals call them "MENKWA" (giants).
Footprints were seen on the Parus-Shor stream and on the shore of Lake Balbanty (the lake is a sacred place of the Khanty people, located in a protected area).

After a short lunch, the tireless participants of the expedition are scheduled to continue their journey in order to search for possible sites of ancient sites for rituals, ritual sites and sites, as well as burials.
Officially, there are no holy and ceremonial places of modern Khanty, Mansi and Nenets in these places.
The head of this expedition is a specialist in the traditional folk culture of the peoples of the Urals Vladimir Anishchenko found anthropomorphic stone figures in these territories — "guardian" and "shaman's head", which require additional verification and clarification of the presence of traces of human processing.
After visiting the archaeological sites, the travelers return to the stationary camp.

Day 5 - Rafting, fishing, arrival at the mouth of the Hulga River

During the day, the chef. in agreement with the group, it moves autonomously, overtaking the team and waiting for the group downstream of the river Tykotlovy at the mouth of the Hulga River (the confluence of the Tykotlov and Hulga rivers), prepares a place for overnight parking, sets up tables, makes a fire and prepares a themed hot lunch and dinner (according to the selected menu).

Day 6 - Rafting, fishing for taimen and pike

On the current day of the expedition, rafting on the Hulga River with short stops for photo shoots and fishing is planned for the team.
The average course of the Hulga River is quite slow, the river becomes full-flowing and deep.
Alluvial pits are not uncommon in the riverbed, the depth of which in some cases reaches from 7 to 9 meters.
In pits and pools, in barrels and deep—sea ples, there is a high probability of biting by a river predator - a taimen.
The team stops for short-term parking for the purpose of fishing for the legendary king fish — the circumpolar taimen.
Every caught taimen, after a short photo shoot, is necessarily released back into the river.
Taimen is a valuable fish listed in the Red Book of the Russian Federation and the dream of every fisherman is to see and catch red—tailed salmon — taimen at least once.
The expedition participants do not violate the law of the Russian Federation and are warned that any caught taimen must be released into the wild.
This is the main rule and condition in our expeditions: if you catch a taimen, you let the taimen go.
The whole taimen should be released back into the river, its native element.

Day 7 - Radial access to Lake Balbanty

Fishermen and those who want to spend time in a day camp on the last day of the expedition can stay on the shore of the Hulga and catch grayling, salt a few kilograms in order to bring with them and treat their relatives and friends with this unique purest fish of the rivers of the circumpolar north.

On the current, final day of the expedition, a trip to the sacred Mansi lake — Balbanty (Emyng-Lor) is planned.
This lake is located in protected, sacred places for Mansi and Khanty.
Lake Balbanty is a ritual place dedicated to the patron saint of deer herds Kev-urhu-akem-iki ("old man of the stone ridge").
On the shores of this lake, the Ob Ugrians and shamans perform the rite "Yir", dedicated to the patron saint of deer herds.
Lake Balbanty is a natural temple for representatives of the indigenous peoples of the north and for those who want to visit this sacred lake, there are several route options to choose from, since the length of the lake is 7 km and it is a big waste of time to go through all the routes:
Visit a unique field of water lilies about 300 meters long (on the approaches to the lake 2 km before the lake);
At the very entrance to the lake there is a sacred place with idols and offerings. Old knives are stuck in birch and suspended rings and pouches. You can't touch anything categorically, even touch it, but the photos and shooting are very colorful. Those who wish can leave something of their own as a gift to the spirits of the lake (a knife, a piece of money, a handkerchief).

The way to Lake Balbanty passes through streams, the area is swampy in some places, so the group moves only accompanied by a guide.
The distance to the lake from the stationary camp is 5km.

The path goes through rough terrain, the route is not easy and requires the group members to give their strength accordingly. The participants of the expedition must arrive at the stationary camp before dark.
