Itinerary

Day 1 - Sortavala. Bastion Theme Park
Meeting with the guide at the railway station in Sortavaly upon arrival of the train from Moscow No. 160B at 08:19, or from Lastochka train No. 821H in St. Petersburg at 10:20.
Breakfast.
Sightseeing tour of Sortavala. The cozy old town is located on the shore of Ladoga, not far from the Finnish border. It has not only beautiful architecture, but also picturesque surroundings and a favorable climate.
The unusual architectural appearance of the city was formed under the influence of three states: Sweden, Finland and Russia, to which its territory belonged at different times.
Bastion Theme Park (Sortavala). The price includes visits to all museums in the park, themed excursions, costume areas and mead tasting!
The following locations operate in the park:
Museum of Living History of the Viking Age "Svartbjarnarborg" — "Mustankarhunlinna" — "Fortress of the Black Bear";
The Museum of Living History "Four Fronts", which is dedicated to the Soviet-Finnish armed conflicts of the XX century;
the exhibition of wooden sculptures "The secret life of insects".
For an additional fee, you can attend workshops in the blacksmith shop, pottery and weaving workshops, as well as shoot at a shooting range with various types of weapons (bow, crossbow, throwing spears and axes).

Day 2 - Husky Kennel, Ruskeala Mountain Park
Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure with a guide for the excursion program.
Excursion to the Siberian Husky kennel (near the Ruskeala Mountain Park). You will be introduced to the history of the Siberian Husky breed, riding and everyday life of the peoples of the north.
Now there are 40 dogs living in the kennel, including Siberian huskies and riding mestizos. You will be able to chat and take pictures with the dogs.
For an additional fee, there will be an opportunity to ride a dog sled.
In addition, foxes, reindeer, raccoons, pigs, crows, owls, squirrels and rabbits live in the nursery!
During the holidays, there will be a New Year's program for the guests: a fabulous performance, games and contests with the real Santa Claus, Baba Yaga and other characters. After the performance, you will be able to take pictures with fairy-tale characters in the New Year's photo zone.
The next stop will be in a great place for walking and a photo shoot in nature at the Ruskeala waterfalls. The shooting of the cult Soviet film "And the dawns are quiet here" took place here.
For an additional fee, you can walk along the eco-trail with hanging bridges over waterfalls.
Excursion to the Ruskeala Mountain Park (30 km from the city Sortavaly). It is the most visited tourist site in Karelia at the moment. Since the 17th century, marble has been mined here for 300 years to decorate palaces and temples of the Northern capital.
For an additional fee, you can leave the mountain park by the Ruskealsky Express retro train at 17:00.
In your free time, for an additional fee, you can ride over Marble Lake on a zip-line trolley, eat in a cafe in the mountain park, buy souvenirs. Additional services on the territory of the mountain park are purchased directly on site, at the ticket offices of the mountain park. They are not booked in advance.
Return to Sortavalu.

Day 3 - Kindasovo village. Getting to know Petrozavodsk
Breakfast at the hotel. Room release.
Departure with a guide to Petrozavodsk (transfer about 250 km).
On the way, we will stop in the Karelian village of Kindasovo, where the program "Village fun or New Year in Kindasovo!" awaits you. Karelian culture and a kind of Kindasian humor are combined in a unique way here. Since the 19th century, stories and anecdotes have been circulating about the villagers. By coming here, you can become a real Kindasian and even speak Karelian.
You will be treated to traditional Karelian pies and fragrant tea with herbs! You will hear the enchanting sounds of national instruments: kantele and jouhikko, find out what a yaga is, why Karel needs a big house and who is in charge of the village. In this place, even adults have fun like children!
Late lunch.
Getting to know the city of Petrozavodsk, the capital of the Republic of Karelia. You will see the historical center, the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the Governor's Park and, of course, the monument to Peter I, the founder of Petrozavodsk.
The tour program ends in the evening at the Petrozavodsk railway station.The program ends approximately at 19:00-20:00.
Before the train departs, you will have the opportunity to buy souvenirs and stroll through the festive streets of the city.
