Winter trip to Krasnoshchelye

Breakfast.

After breakfast, a tour of the surroundings of the village with a visit to the local history corner of Krasnoshchelskaya secondary school, the village library and the Vazhya Olom museum.

After lunch, prepare for the sauna.

Those who wish can take part in chopping firewood to light the stove and bringing water from the hole of the bathhouse on a snowmobile.

While the sauna is being heated, we will hold national competitions – lasso throwing, sled jumping;

Photographing in the plague in national clothes with tea from a samovar on coals.

Then a hot bath with birch and juniper brooms and lingonberry juice.

Dinner of fish dishes exclusively from the fish of the famous Ponoy River.

After dinner, do not forget to walk around the village, looking at the sky, so as not to miss the Northern Lights show.

9:00 a.m. breakfast, departure to the vast expanses of the North – to the lakes, to ice fishing, where, in addition to fishing, you will have the opportunity to install a pine pole on your own, build a fire, melt a samovar with coals and dine according to the tradition of local fishermen with their stories and tales.

On this day, we will have a tour of the village, visit the School of Orthodoxy and the Orthodox Church of St. Seraphim of Sarov under construction.

After a winter walk, we will have a peasant lunch and free time for an afternoon rest.

At 17:00, we are invited to visit the "Evening Dawn" of the participants of the Komi folklore collective "Rytya Kya". At the ethnocultural center and at the Krasnoshchelsky Craftsmen exhibition, where you can buy local original souvenirs made of horn, bone, wool, soft toys and homemade peddlers.

20:00 dinner of national cuisine.

At 08.30, breakfast, packing, the legendary tying of ribbons and departure back to the village of Lovozero.

Weather conditions must be taken into account when buying return tickets. The weather during the New Year holidays is usually clear and frosty. But this is the north. If the wind blows, the travel time will increase. Therefore, we recommend returning to Murmansk on the last day, spending the night and leaving the next morning.
