My partner and I traveled together and visited Kamchatka for the first time. We’re both beginners when it comes to skiing, we’d only practiced on slopes near Moscow before, so we wanted to try real mountains while also exploring some beautiful places. To sum up: First of all, this was the best vacation of our lives, and we’ve traveled quite a lot. The beauty of the region, the climate, the people, it all left us amazed in the best possible way :D Secondly, the level of comfort and organization was outstanding. The transfers were convenient and flexible, taking us wherever we needed on request 👍 The team welcomed us like family, which made the whole experience even more special. Thirdly, everything was very well planned. The itinerary was discussed in advance, what we wanted to do, when it suited us best, and so on. At one point, the weather turned bad (heavy snow and zero visibility), so we couldn’t go to the volcano, but alternative activities were immediately предложены, which kept the day just as enjoyable. Fourth, food 😂 We love good food , but even we couldn’t finish everything that was served at breakfast and dinner :)the portions were generous, the variety was great ,and everything was delicious 👍 We definitely recommend this trip. One small tip: the direct flight is about 9 hours long, so if you can, it’s worth paying a little extra for a more comfortable seat, it makes a big difference. We’re already planning to come back in the summer. The program looks amazing, fishing, bears, volcano hikes. Kamchatka completely won us over.

We’ve just returned from an amazing trip to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. There is beauty and vibrancy in everything: the nature, the ocean, the volcanoes, the weather, and, of course, the people. The program was incredibly diverse, with each day offering something unique and full of unforgettable experiences.

Unfortunately, the bad weather didn’t let us fully appreciate the beauty of Kamchatka. However, it didn’t diminish the overall experience of the trip. We stayed at the Sputnik Hotel, which we really enjoyed. It had several thermal pools, a fantastic sauna, delicious breakfasts, and a great variety of dinners. During our journey, we visited volcanoes, spotted an Arctic ground squirrel and a bear, flew over an active volcano, went fishing, hiked to waterfalls, bathed in thermal springs, navigated through the forest in off-road vehicles, and, of course, enjoyed plenty of fresh fish.

Absolute delight! Flawless organization, professional guides, stunning landscapes, culinary delights, and unforgettable experiences! Thank you so much!

I joined the tour from June 16 to June 23, 2024. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to our guides at every stage of the route for their professionalism, organization, flexibility, and above all, their passion for their work, their region, and the people they share its beauty with! The weather is the most crucial factor in the success of a tour, and June is an unpredictable month for visiting Kamchatka – it all comes down to luck. I believe we were very fortunate with the weather. Despite forecasts warning that "things are complicated and uncertain, and we’ll have to adapt," we had excellent visibility and the opportunity to see valleys, volcanoes, and breathtaking views. The food was fantastic (special thanks to the chefs Natalia and Yevgeni at the Vulkan shelter), transportation was safe, and there were plenty of laughs along the way! We had an amazing time, and I can’t wait to return!

I loved everything! The program was delivered exactly as promised. The tour was expertly planned—well-paced and not overwhelming, with every excursion thoughtfully organized.

This was our first time traveling with a tour, and we had anticipated some hiccups with the guides, meals, or accommodations. But none of that happened—we were completely satisfied with everything. The program was well-detailed, and we managed to follow it closely despite some changes in the weather, though we were fortunate in that regard as well. The tour was engaging and moderately demanding. For some elderly participants, it was admittedly a bit challenging at times, but we simply took breaks and waited when needed.

I'm grateful THIS experience happened in my life. While I usually prefer lazy beach vacations, the sights and impressions I gained in Kamchatka were absolutely worth the effort this trip required. I’m not an animal enthusiast by any means, but seeing killer whales, bear cubs with their mother, a ground squirrel, a marmot, and a fox in the wild was truly mesmerizing! The tour includes fascinating and iconic locations on the peninsula. There's a lot of debate about whether the cost of a helicopter tour is justified. I also hesitated for a long time but eventually decided to go for it. I have no regrets and wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone! As for the downsides: 1) The weather is unpredictable and often alters planned routes. Cloud cover can sometimes obscure the views. 2) Vendors and staff at some guesthouses are NOT particularly customer-oriented. It’s best to be prepared for that. 3) There are no budget-friendly prices—anywhere. That said, the overall impression is remarkable. My photo library is now enriched with stunning material, and my perspective has been broadened in so many ways.

The tour was fantastic. Active days are balanced with more relaxed ones, and the final day offers flexibility – you can either opt for an additional excursion or take some time to unwind before departure.

The tour was absolutely amazing! I want to extend a big thank you to the management, guides, chefs, and drivers for their outstanding professionalism. The accommodations were excellent. Initially, I was a bit apprehensive about staying in a volcano shelter with five people and sleeping in sleeping bags. But in reality, it turned out to be the highlight of the tour. Sometimes, disconnecting from technology and stepping away from modern comforts is exactly what you need—a refreshing reset. The most unforgettable moments were rafting on the Bystraya River and, of course, climbing Gorely Volcano. Snowmobiles and sled rides added a whole new level of excitement and joy. Evenings spent by the campfire, watching the sunset, were simply magical. The chefs were true masters of their craft. The delicious fish soup prepared outdoors after rafting was unforgettable, and the pea and solyanka soups with cheese at the volcano shelter were absolute perfection! Thank you for an incredible tour and for creating such a fantastic atmosphere!

5 wonderful days in Kamchatka! This was our first experience visiting such a remote region, and everything was perfectly organized right from the booking stage. Thanks to Big Country, we’re already planning our next tour for September. Kamchatka is stunning, awe-inspiring, full of mosquitoes, but incredibly delicious and unforgettable.

It was just great!

The tour was booked back in the fall of 2023, and I was drawn to the rich and diverse itinerary of the 7-day Kamchatka Express tour. We were greeted at the airport and taken to the hotel. Each evening, we received detailed information about the next day’s activities. Our guide, Irina, provided thorough explanations about the excursions, including departure times and, most importantly, advice on how to dress and what essentials to bring — a crucial detail in Kamchatka! The excursions were conducted in jeeps with outstanding driver-guides who were both highly professional and incredibly friendly. Every trip was absolutely fantastic! The hotel accommodations were also excellent!

Kamchatka is magnificent.

I really enjoyed the tour. We visited many incredible locations, including stunning volcanoes, a waterfall, and the ocean. The food was delicious and filling – we even got to enjoy caviar and fish. The hotel was well-equipped and provided all the necessary amenities.
