Dagestan is absolutely breathtaking, but what truly made the trip special was our guide, Ekaterina. She created a wonderful atmosphere, introduced us to the region’s unique culture, and shared fascinating stories and legends. Our driver, Zamir, also made every journey memorable and enjoyable, thanks in part to his excellent choice of music :)

In mid-June, we joined the tour “A Grand Journey Through Dagestan: The Highlights in 5 Days.” We would like to express our sincere thanks to our guide, Yana, for her engaging and informative insights into the region’s history and legends, as well as for her attentiveness and thoughtful planning throughout the trip. We are also grateful to our driver, Ruslan, for his careful driving and for keeping the bus comfortably cool during the journey. The mountains are extraordinarily beautiful, and Derbent is both majestically ancient and vibrantly modern at the same time. We wish Dagestan peace and harmony and hope it continues to grow as one of the most exciting travel destinations in Russia.
