Everything was absolutely wonderful! Denis is an excellent guide—cheerful, sociable, and full of fascinating stories. Our driver was also very engaging, making the journey both informative and enjoyable. Now we’re eager to visit again in winter! The food at the hotel was basic, without any local flair, but I highly recommend the nearby café Barguzin. We walked a lot, so be sure to bring comfortable sneakers—ideally ones you don’t mind getting a bit worn. You don’t need to pack much; there are shops on the island. Towels for swimming in Lake Baikal are provided—just ask—but you’ll need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste, as those aren’t available. We stayed in a room with all the necessary amenities, though toothbrushes and toothpaste weren’t included. And don’t miss visiting the deer farm—the deer are simply magical :D

The weather treated us to a full range of experiences, from pleasant sunshine to a storm on the way back. A huge thank you to our guide, Mikhail, for his care, patience, attentiveness, and the great atmosphere he created throughout our stay on Kunashir.

Despite the long drives in the UAZ-452 buses, there was no sense of fatigue, as everything was thoughtfully planned with well-timed stops and opportunities to explore on foot. The tour was fantastic! The weather was a bit unpredictable, but it didn’t dampen the mood or the overall experience. Our guide, Leonid, was incredible! He knew everything—history, traditions, flora, fauna—and was full of energy, always attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure we enjoyed our time. We learned so much about the local way of life and even played a traditional board game, which was great fun. Leonid is such a knowledgeable guide 👍👍👍—with him, you feel confident climbing any mountain. The natural scenery was absolutely breathtaking. Before the tour, I was a bit concerned about the food, but it turned out there was no need to worry—everything was excellent. Our group was also amazing, full of positivity and great energy. An amazing trip! It will stay in our memories for a long time! The guide was highly professional, the hotels were excellent, and the transfers seamless. We learned so much and made unforgettable memories!

A fantastic tour with an engaging program. The only thing I would note is that you need to dedicate a whole day to visit Peterhof and Tsarskoye Selo. The tour offers a preview of these locations, but it’s still very interesting, and I don’t regret the time or money spent.
